I agree with all the rest - it's a very good school. But prepare to really work hard mentally. It's very intense. You study all the time.

Spanish and German are not popular languages. Arabic classes are held quite often, Spanish almost never, and German only when a specific need is there.
you have almost no say in which language you get at DLI.

Are you kidding?
DLI is the best place to learn any language. Total immersion in the language and the history.
I went there 3 times for 3 different languages..... My net worth has increased as a result...

DLI is awesome, the curriculum requires most of your time if you expect to graduate and pass the DLPT with a 2 or 2+ (depending on your language). The surrounding area is great too!

Sure but you don't get to choose the language you will be taught and I can guarantee you neither of them will be Spanish or German. Arabic yes, Korean yes, Chinese yes.

You bet...I spent 2 yrs. at DLI in the late 70's...And the surroundings are spectacular! (Arabic Egyptian).
