Do you think the DoD Decency act is right? Basicly the act prohibits the sale of obscene material at On-Base Exchanges. Currently Playboy, all Playboy special editions, Penthouse, Tatoos, and Bikers are allowed, but other Pornographic magazines are not? Every 5 years a commision approves or denies magazines, the "explicit" are not allowed, "tastefull" are. Do you think this is right?

I think it's silly. It isn't like the magazines are in the reach of children, so why can't they be there?

As a side note, why do they consider tattoo mags "adult", and put them on the top shelf with the Playboys? It's a pain in the **** for us short people with a love for ink.

No it's not right! If you "need" to purchase a copy of said magazine,go to 7-11,not on base period.

If ones tastes in pornography go beyond Penthouse and Playboy, then maybe let's keep it, "don't ask, don't tell". Some guy in the barracks reading "Farm Girls" or "Manhole" might not be good for esprit de corp.

I don't think it's fair to troops overseas.
