Politics.
They are all crowd pleasers. Flip flopping is part of the game. Do you actually believe the words of any politician? Each will say whatever it takes to win. BTW---the Clintons are champions of the flip flop. In one day, flipping channels on cable TV I watched Bill, flanked by doting Hil, give several opposing opinions--with a straight and sincere face--- to the very same question. It was pretty funny.

I'm sorry, is Romney still trying to run with those Flip-Flops on?
He's so far behind I can barely remember what his 'But' (as in But I've changed my position again) looks like. Maybe he's swapped over to the Easter Primary (you know, where the race involves Hopping?)

Mitt's flip flopping is catching up with him. It doesn't help that he looks as slick as a used car salesman on top of everything else. He's just not believable. I don't think the Reps will nominate him, but if they do, he's toast in the general election.

They are politicians Kerry and Romney are both going to tell you what they think will get you to vote for them. Like all Politicians the truth is what gets the most votes not necessarily what is the real truth.

The difference is that Mitt has honestly changed his views, whereas Kerry couldn't make up his mind.
