The Des Moines Register endorsed Hillary Clinton because she would be more likely to compromise with corporate power for change in Washington and the country. How did corporations attain so much ill-gotten power in Washington in the first place? There is nothing in the Constitution that gives them political power whereby the People have to compromise with corporations to get our country back! Something is very wrong in Washington. John Edwards seems to understand it better than anyone, except perhaps Ralph Nader.

Does it make you think, hey where did we go wrong?

By compromising we won't accomplish changes. The corporations have their fingers in both parties, total control of Republicans, stooges like Hilary in the Democratic Party. Edwards Kucinich or Obama as well as any of the other Democrats running, would be much stronger in that respect.
