I can see my question is provoking some decline in maturity. Not quite my intention, I don't think. Perhaps I will apologize later.

God in charge? This country was first and foremost a country that allowed the freedom to practice the religion of one's choice Their use of the word 'creator' was very specific. They knew that all religions recognized a creator, not necessarily calling him God and not necessarily the Christian God. With that in mind, they created a country governed by a Constitution, not a holy book.

The centuries old illusion of perception from the Vatican still has many assuming that *God* is in control. Although the infinite presence and intelligence continues creation and cycles of nature, it is we as humanity who most times stumble along. We as a humanity must be willing to be responsible for our freedom or a handful (Blue Bloods) will do it for us, and that is why more often then not miserable conditions are established for us.

No god just made guide lines to follow. So far some Americans have done a large part of trying to destroy these guide lines. Why are people allowed to be out in the populace as child molesters, murders, prostitutes, etc etc.

Yes sure he is. That would be the same as to claim that comic book characters existed in real life.

Technically, yes. Since Bush supposedly "talks to God" then if God tells him to do something, then he will do it.
