Republican Mitt Romney retorted to questions about his faith by surging rival Mike Huckabee on Wednesday, declaring that "attacking someone's religion is really going too far."

In an article to be published Sunday in The New York Times, Huckabee, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, asks, "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?"

I was wondering if when you register to vote the form asks your party affiliation.

the reason i ask is that i registered many years ago. and if i had to choose then, my stance has changed and i would like to change my affiliation.

The final question is if this is one of those things you fight or let go.
And I have already done the "it's the principle that matters".
Ok... an excavating company did what's called a "cut" in the street. They were contracted by the water company who was ultimately given the right of way by the city to perform.
They usually are to put large metal plates over the cut. As well as a warning barricade.
But it was only done on one side of the street. I hit a washout in the cut directly with my front wheel.
Why, it wasn't covered, I don't know. It just wasn't done.
So I am out about $300 repair damage to the front end (wheel ball joint) of my car.
I realize that's minimal since it could of been so much more damage.
It's not like a nail was in the road and it's "no fault".
It could of been prevented were it not due to someones negligence of not following proper procedures.
The question before the one above is, who would be ultimately responsible for the damage?

They let her off with a slap on the wrist, which was VERY generous. I was just curious as to whether they will alert other grocery stores in our area, or something of the sort. I trust and pray that this will never happen again, but I feel it would be awful if she was ever treated suspiciously for a very bad mistake. Does anybody know?

Isn't the only reason people support torture and cruelty to other people because of an animal instinct to hurt others?

And given that, what is it, exactly, that makes us so superior to other animals on this planet?

Also, why are you concerned that a terrorist may accidentally swallow a little water? Isn't it more important to get details to stop an attack on 300 million Americans? Also, why don't you know learning to snorkel underwater while on vacation causes more water to be swallowed than being waterboarded?

"Majorities of likely voters in both political parties favor requirements on industries to limit "greenhouse" emissions"

On top of that, almost every Republican presidential candidate (and every one with a chance of winning the nomination) agrees that humans are the primary cause of the current global warming and we need to do something about it.

Since they're currently battling for Republican votes in the GOP primary, that's another solid indicator that most Republicans agree.

So if man-made global warming is just a liberal hoax, why do the majority of Republicans fall for it? Are they just stupid, or do they simply realize that global warming is a scientific issue, not a political one (and certainly not a hoax)?

Last week a co-worker of mine was killed in a car accident. Our employer was promptly notified. However they didn't tell any of us that the accident even happened. So we didn't know that our friend had died until we started hearing a bunch of rumors. They said it would have violated the HIPPA law so they couldn't tell us ..I don't think it would have just wondering if anyone knows? I think this was very inconciderate of our employer>
