"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron."

Dwight D. Eisenhower in a speech from 1953

Most companies outsource to other countries for several reasons. 2 of the big ones are cheaper wages and less regulations on pollutants in air and land. Seeing the World now has taken up the cause of Global warming and cleaning up our eco system shouldn't these U S based companies be held responsible for their actions in regards to pollution and contributing to illegal immigration by the low pay they offer in these countries? I refer specifically to China and Mexico as prime examples. We get a lot of Chinese here illegally believe it or not. Often for use in sex trade. Maybe if something was enforced here regarding these companies to pay a livable wage overseas and beyond our borders they would think twice about outsourcing thus leaving jobs here for us. Also these countries then wouldn't require the billions we give in our tax money to help them clean up their pollutants. Can we regulate something like that? Or is that left up to each country?

My niece works Friday night and Saturday night at a local restaurant in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She is 16 years old trying to make some pocket money. She gets A$7.13 per hour. Is this the right level of pay? Shouldn't she get paid more as a casual waitress and works weekends? What about casual loading and weekend rates?

Is the music good?
Are the lyrics good?
Am I too preachy or political?

How can i improve my vocals- (which I know suck)?

Any other comments - positive or negative - are greatly appreciated....

As some of you are aware, I like to answer questions about the BNP. Specifically, the fact that if they took power, that they would limit our rights to vote.

I even posted a link http://www.bnp.org.uk/candidates2005/manifesto/manf16.htm Strangely, after doing so on questions asked by a BNP member who is trying to become a councillor, the link location has been removed on the BNP website.

Do you think that it is a strange coincidence, or do you think that the BNP do not want us, the UK electorate to know the truth of what kind of Britain they would inflict upon us if they took power?

You can download the manifesto which states this here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/vote_2005/frontpage/4476279.stm still.

Men are conservatives when they are least vigorous, or when they are most luxurious. They are conservatives after dinner.

In my home state of North Carolina, I can only vote for the candidate of my party of choice in the preliminary. So, if I am to do my part to assure Dr. Paul is on the primary ballot, I must switch from independent to Republican.

(i mean, mainly in presidential elections)

why treat only the symptoms of the real problem: sex all over tv and advertising? (ok, so money would be my guess) once the baby is made, how is your life then up to the public?

im not really one way or the other:
1)girls have to live with the fact they got an abortion, so they obviously justified it to themselves, and they will have to deal with their choices, which is all that matters.
2)it's not like theres a shortage of babies.

so, really, why add this pointless debate in an already pointless wealth-driven debate?

(that's great if you've formed a strong opinion on abortion, pro life or choice, but plz keep it to yourself, b/c no one cares, i promise)

Even with Americans voting or willing to vote for presidental candidates like Clinton and Obama, does Kucinich have any chance in winning? By the way I'd vote for Kucinich.

The way I understand it conservatives support minimizing the government's level of power and control over people. Isn't getting involved in military skirmishes all over the world just a government exerting more control? Policing the world seems like big government, not small.

Then again, banning abortion would be another form of government control. I'm so confused.

What an interesting election choice for our American Allies.

http://www.mormonbeliefs.org/

Mitt Romney promises to defend religious freedom. QUOTE "If I am fortunate to become your president, I will serve no one religion, no one group, no one cause, and no one interest," he said. "A president must serve only the common cause of the people of the United States."

Yet... QUOTE "Mormons believe that Joseph Smith restored the true church on the earth."

Hmmm "Mr Romney stressed that, like Kennedy, he was "an American running for president" who would not define his candidacy by religion."

Allegedly, " Mr Romney resisted making this speech for some time, but he has now made his pitch by claiming, in essence, that Americans need not feel uncomfortable. "
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7131392.stm

Can YOU put YOUR faith in Mitt Romney to be the next President of the United States?
