Muslims feel opressed, and the ones that are most sensitive come from countries that are in 2nd or 3rd world conditions, not realising that its probably their own pride that is stopping them from advancing. Those poorly developed countries, in a world moving so fast, can't keep up therefore they hang on to the only thing they have got, their religion.
If only they had an overall leader, like the Pope for christianity, albeit the catholic side of it, that could set the records straight for all the different interpretations that the Islamic factions have, then their lives would be so much more comfortable.
If only they didn't mix politics with religion. I could go on about how Sharia law does not work in the 21st century, especially in developed countries, where calling a teddy Mohammed seems attrocious that that poor teacher even was arrested let alone sentenced to 15 days, but more sensitive muslims would not understand this and probably highly disagree.
If only they didnt take offence with their religion. We aren't poking fun at them when we come up with jokes or cartoons about their religion. It's freedom of expression, its what helps us get things off our chest and if Islamic countries relaxed a little, they wouldn't be so oppressed, as at the end of the day, they are only oppressing themselves.
We do it to ourselves all the time, with films like Monty Pythons holy grail, Dogma, and even more 'blasphemous' films as Dan Browns Da Vinci's code and Stigmata.
Have you noticed that countries that are not so reliant on religion seem to be advancing the fastest? It's not that we are not religious, just we hold life, family and friends on at least an equal regard.
Religion, be it Christianity, Islam or Buddism are all good as it teaches people basically how to live. But they were written in times where people had nothing. If you don't move with the times, then you will stay where you are. People still live in the remote villages in the middle east as the people lived centuries ago, because they aren't given the chance to move on, of course they are gonna be upset if the only thing that has guided their lives is poked fun at.
I am sure this can be picked apart by any religious person, its only my opinion at this minute, coming from someone that lives in a comfortable place, and who holds the lives of my family at higher regard than any religion.

Muslim terrorists and fanatics have aroused a great deal of hatred in this country because they attack and kill innocent people, including Muslims.
That hatred is understandable and I suspect many Muslims feel the same way.
We should recognise that most British Muslims feel as we do but at the same time they must feel even more vulnerable than we do. Not only do they run the same risks regarding explosions etc but they probably feel that they are hated and might be attacked simply because they are Muslim. It is no wonder that they are ultra sensitive. I think it is essential that we all recognise this because it will bring benefits to all of us, not least the fact that more Muslims might be inclined to denounce their own if they suspect them of being terrorists. It is no wonder that they are slow in coming forward at the moment.
Muslim terrorists are no more religious than were the IRA. It is a purely political movement.
The one criticism I have is this: if Muslims integrated more they would discover that we are basically all the same, with the same hopes, fears and aspirations.

Because they are insecure in their faith. Those who firmly believe in something are secure in the knowledge that their beliefs are real, true and well founded. Those who have doubts do not want criticism becuase it attacks their beliefs and they fear that this criticism will expose the weakness or failure of that belief. It will prove that their doubts might be true therefore the basis of belief is unsound.
This same thing applies with Gay bashing, political campaigns - all sorts of situations where the belief of an individual can be shaken or destroyed by the exposure of false assumptions or basis of belief.
Anger, for any reason is based on fear. It is a natural reaction. Having a belief proven false or incorrect can certainly evoke anger. The three "touchy" topics - Religion, Politics and sexual orientation. IF you want to start a real riot, walk into a bar late Saturday night and suggest that the pope is a gay communist. Be sure you know where the exit is.

Natty the racist is showing her true colours after having to set up another new account!
In answer to the question, unlike other religions, Muslims will not entertain any criticism of their prophet, some even call for the death of an innocent woman after her pupils name a stuffed toy after him. All religion relies on some level of fear and brainwashing to make sure followers are compliant but i`m sure any God would not have intended such ridiculous situations to arise.

Muslim Culture is all about honor and respect and less about honesty and compromise.
Muslim teaching assumes that superiority of Islam over other religions must be demonstrated, and the use of force is an essential part of this demonstration, "Din Muhammad besaif" is probably the most important Definition of Muslim thinking, and it means that Islam should use force "saif - Sword" to advance this religion.
Now, with this basis, no wonder Muslims are so sensitive to any form of criticism about their prophet, their customs, etc.

Because they don't have viable answers to the questions posed to them.
For example, how would they answer the question, why are women never seen praying alongside the men.
They would take this as a criticism rather than accepting it as a question based on basic human rights.

Muslims social conduct is most important in protection of Imaan-faith,safeguarding honour and reputation. It is said that until the day of Qiyaamah-judgement the honour and reputation of the believers have been declared sacred. This sanctity cannot therefore be violated.

Well I'll tell you ! (open your eyes)
I've lived in Glasgow all my life, when the IRA were bombing Britian, they never targeted the public, only government buildings. Even when this was happening they never once bombed Scotland. But this year we've had muslims bombing buses, trains and trying to blow up Glasgow Airport. This has never happened to us since we started letting thousands of muslims settle in our counrty. Why the hell would they want to kill woman and children, innosent people ? So they can get to go to Allah ? If yous don't like us or our way of life then leave our country.
Thats why !
You work out the rest of it, it's not rocket science.
I hope yous all go to your own country, I do know that not all are evil, but most people I know think the way I do.
