who can help me out? I have one last question on my Political Science homework, and I'm all out of words :)

Why does the constitution need to be definite, brief and broad?

Interesting article on the onset of Huckabee's political career in Arkansas, a career deeply rooted in his evangelical calling, enjoy!

Has anyone else read about this? Apparently Yorkshire NHS trust has now decreed that nurses must agree to move the beds of Muslims patients so that five times a day they face Mecca?

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Apparently there is an article about it in several British newspapers but I don't have the links.

What are your thoughts?

We especially need Plumbers, Roofers, Tilers, Doctors, Nurses, Teachers as you will see on our UK websites.
The UK government is to blame for all problems in UK today it is not immigrants, let me show you:
Gov't deliberately does not build enough houses
Gov't deliberately foes not fund childcare properly
Gov't deliberately does not fund students at university properly
Govt' deliberately does not organise transport (rail and bus) properly
Gov't deliberately stops people working and forces them on to benefits
Gov't deliberately discriminates against hard working people by too much income tax and not enough tax on capitalists like private equity funds.
Gov't deliberately got us into Iraq war what a waste of money and lives !
Gov't deliberately wants us to blame foreigners to be free of criticism.
Labour and the GB government need to improve public services and give planning permission for 10 million new homes and let everyone have a good job.
We should be so grateful people want to come !

I am doing an MA at Portsmouth University and am researching the integration of the individual into society. An essential part of this integration is to understand the applicable laws in order that the individual can ascertain what constitutes acceptable behavior.

Could you advise on how many laws are current and how many laws, on average, are passed or deleted per year?

Prime Minister Gordon Brown could miss the signing of the EU Reform Treaty next week because of a diary clash, Downing Street has said.

He is due to face the Commons liaison committee - made up of senior MPs - on Thursday morning, just hours before the ceremony takes place in Lisbon.

A Number 10 spokesman said: "He does want to go... it is hoped he can go."

Foreign Secretary David Miliband is likely fly to Portugal to sign the document if Mr Brown is unavailable.
