Last week, i was answering a question about "Universal" health care. I basically said it was socialism. and this is the stupid question i got in return."well if socialism is sooo bad then why do we have social security?" Do people acctualy think this way? do they not read, or pay attention to their country? If they did tehy would know how social security is unsistanable, as is socialism,in any form. my situation is that i moved out and didnt do a walk out inspection. i did clean the place but they say i didnt, so im being charged for that. plus theyre saying I owe money for back rent, but i gave a 30 day notice and moved out on the day i said. the only thing is, i put the keys in the drop box the next morning so i dont know it thats y theyre trying to charge me for rent or what. The first time i heard anything regarding the matter was over a year later from a collection agency. i just recently sent the collection agency a dispute letter and i guess ill go from there. is it just a lost cause if I cant prove anything or can i fight it and win. thank you

I am a government employee stationed overseas. I am in a supervisory position, and have about 30 employees working for me. I've always heard, but never been able to find in writing, that my salary can't be lower than an employee I supervise. I am a GS (now NSPS) employee, and most of whom I supervise are wage graded employees. Several of those employees have a higher rate of pay than I do. What I'm trying to find out is:

a. Is what I've heard correct, meaning I am entitled to a raise that would bring my rate of pay to 3% higher than my highest paid employee?

b. Where can I find this information in writing?

I have a friend who is in trouble beacuse she had her almost 18 year old sister over who while she was over acused my firend that she let her drink, smoke and watch/look at pornography which is totaly untrue while her husband dose smoke and they did have a wine coler in the frige they never gave the said minor any of it willingly will they be in trouble because of something like this even tho both my friend and her husband are beyond legal age? and keep the alleged porn hidden from the minor who proboly found it or something? or will a case like this be droped becasuse theres no proof?

How can this happen without an extensive investigation delving into literally every aspect of his classified access. Who, what, where, when and how. If he takes the 5th or refuses to cooperate or if he cant remember.Then he should be subject to the maximum penalty for treason. What do you think of having hidden cameras in very high crime areas ?
Lets face it cameras are all over, from Times Square to beaches to parking lots you could probably view it but areas where we could really use cameras to protect innocent people from thugs they arent there . If its infringement , what about all the victims assumption that this isn't going to happen to them where they feel safe, innocent social people should have more rights than someone who won't follow the law.

suppose you were the u.s. military, and i was the country you wanted to attack but i had, sattelites that could spot all your subs,navy vessles, aircraft,incomeing missiles, etc, i also had plenty of multi warhead i.c.b.m's and medium range intermediate missiles and also super sonic anti ship missiles and the best anti aircraft missiles.......would you hve the courage to attack me.This is what i would do if you did try, first shoot down all your sattilites out of space(thus making your misslies,aircraft,navy being unable to aim your weapons accuratly),then launch my anti ship missiles to destroy all your navy,then my s.a.m's to make all your aircraft obselete,then launch my i.c.b.m to bring the point home, and any millitary forces that do land in my country ,i would dispose of them with my medium range missiles. what do you people think about my strategy?

Would they allow us to stay? Would they change signs to read in Spanish and English. When we call customer service would they give us the option of selecting 1) for spanish and 2) for english?

Could we apply for welfare?

In other words, would Mexico make our lives easier due to the fact that we are illegal...and do not speak the language

Okay, my girlfriend is really bothering me and then these things people keep saying "Go back to the Start! do not pass GO and do not go to Jail." because I want to do infantry/sniper...
I'm planning on picking infantry, training with sniper rifles, going airborne, air assault, and maybe special forces if I could...
But everyone doesn't want me to, and I don't wanna be stuck behind repairing tanks or watching stupid prisoners, I want to be where the action is, so like what the hell do I do now?

Should I pick another stupid job I'll hate?
