And places this form of power in the hands of persons who want to attain this level of "authority" over others, what timely protections and recourse will a person/individual have to keep themself from being forced to change their beliefs to fit the "communities expectations".

This proposed law; is unnecessary, all recourse and lawful acts are established via the Constitution and so are individual protections.

Dead men warned you about this level of judgement, and the persons and conditions that would attempt to attain this level of power over citizens.

Everyone says that army is no way for financial freedom and success. I want to know why people say this, I am a college grad and the only jobs out here pay between 30k and 40k starting off, and ur lucky if u get benefits i.e. 401k and healthcare. Ive looked at the annual salary charts for officers and they go from 37k to 80k in the first 4 yrs with promotions. You get benefits, and u can retire in 20yrs, not including the re-up bonuses.
Also when I look at the top paying jobs military jobs are never included and I know Majors to Brig Generals gross every bit of 80k -100k.
Ive served 4 and a half yrs in the reserve and from my perspective soldiers make pretty good money, its just they act childish and spend thier money like its going out of style i.e. cars, strip clubs, bars. so they have the perseption that they are broke. So how come I get the perseption that If I go active army Im going to be broke, or living a financialy mediocor life?

I am being sued for 4000 in small claims court by a lunatic who has a history of suing people. would it be logical to sue in small claims to get it bound over to circuit court? No one can figure out why her lawyer asked for 4000 in small claims, rather than take it to circuit? Any thoughts?

"President Bush has ensured that we will not have to fight the terrorists at home."

Why are people STILL using this as their basis for supporting the worst President in the history of the United States of America?

Where is the proof that anything is ENSURED? Are these people actually promising that we will never, ever, ever again have to worry about terrorism?

Further, would YOU trust people like this to decide what's best for your country?

I have court today. The state is taking my ex-husband to court for "Order to show cause, as to why he shouldn't be incaserated due to non payment of child support" He hasn't paid anything in 2 years, he is 20,000.00 behind in his child support obligation to my children. Will he actually be thrown in jail, since I know for sure he has no good cause. I don't know what throwing him in jail will really accomplish but maybe it will give himm some time to realize he needs to get on the ball and get a job and pay up his obligations. He has lost every hearing so far, and I know he doesn't have a lawyer. We just have the state lawyer but they don't take sides. So, what may happen? What would you think a judge would do?

2 years without payment
Not working
Still has his drivers liscense but the state already requested to revoke it

Our dollar and economy is crashing faster than you can say fascism. Bush and his admin has everything including concentration camps built by Halliburton, laws that give Bush dictatorial power under marshall law, habeas corpus tossed out. Everything's already to for our constitution to be suspended.

Are we going to rebel against Bush taking away our freedom, or just surrender quietly?

Americans seem to ignore certain ethnic classes, such as hyper obeist Mexicans. Case in point, the common toilets Americans use are to small, and it is to easy for individuals of my ethnics status to tell if we are poistioned correctly, and if I'am sitting on the edge of the toilet seat, I can make a huge mess.

Other times we can miss it all togeather, and the stahls are to small for us to reach down and grab the turd that fell behind the stool.

So perhaps Americans just need to think more about others, thenthey do about them selves.

Will hard line US foreign policy simply be echoed with hard line foreign policy in return?
Most Americans hate Iran. Most Iranians hate America. A war hawk leads the USA. A war hawk leads Iran.
Does this seem like a recipe for peace?
What do you think it will take to defuse the American/Iranian situation and build an environment of trust between these two peoples?
Or, will only war settle this problem?

I currently have a Drs. Restriction stating I cannot preform my normal job duties, therfore my employer had gave me an office position by switching me and someone in the office to do my job. The person who is doing my job is no longer going to be able to do it so they are hiring someone to do my old job, leaving me with nothing. I am not due until Feb. 20th so there is no way my Dr. is going to OK FMLA leave in December. If they do tell me not to come back until after I have the baby, can I draw my unemployment benefits until The Dr. OK's FMLA, and can my employer deny it?

In Wisconsin, the statute of limitation for judgements is 10 years.
Does that mean that they don't have the right to collect after ten years, or does it mean they can't further their case in court?
I thought it meant that your creditor couldn't file FOR a judgement, but from what I read, that is classified under the statute of limitation for DEBTS...so confusing.

Can someone simplify the differences between this sort of statute of limitations?

Thanks all!

Iran ended its nuclear program in 2003 (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7126422.stm) and that is according to US intelligence. Yet Bush is STILL pushing for sanctions, and says Iran is dangerous - even not ruling out military action. So if Iran has done exactly what Bush has told them and given up its nuclear ambitions, what more can they do?

Why do we as Americans keep banging our heads into the wall of a 2 party system? What has either party achieved for America or done for you as an American? Isnt it way past time for Americans to be able to live as Americans again and not as slaves to a two party system that is keeping its boot on our necks?

I'm selling books on Facebook and got an offer from a guy who's buying the book for "his client in the Republic of Benin." I was stupid enough to give him my full name and home address so that his client can "send his check to me."

Now I've received several different offers from Facebook from different IDs, same content. Now I'm sure this is a scam. But I already gave my full name and address. What should I do? Should I report this to someone? What can they do with my name and address? Would they be knocking on my door harrassing me? Did this happen to anyone here? What's gonna happen next? What should I do? Help!
