There are several pro illegal YA posters who keep bringing up the injustices done (and still being done ,i.e., reservations and no reparations) to Native Americans as a trope for them to condone illegal immigration in America. What do you think?

I heard this morning that Massachussetts Department of Transportation is banning American flags from all of thier bridges. I can't believe this. I think this is so un-American. All of our heroes that died for that flag. I am just so angry. Let me know what you think.

I like what Paul has to say but I was listening to a speech he made the other day and when he started talking about healthcare it sounded like mumbo jumbo. I couldn't decide if he was talking out of both sides of his mouth or not on this issue. Can you clarify it?

I purchased my little girls Xmas presents on Ebay and paid like normal through paypal and without looking at the joint account with my husbands balance in the account. I clicked pay and it didn't give me a message saying that it was denied or no funds etc etc. It said completed and I thought there was money in there and didn't even think twice about it because it said completed. How can it be complete if there were no funds??? SO NOW I have a Negative Balance of over 300.00 HELLO....WTF how does this happen? I mean why would they say completed and now I am negative and turns out that my husband had stopped his direct deposit from going into that account and into our other one....nice huh...so I am pissed at him and Paypal....what do I do now? Do I send the items back to the sellers? Am I going to be in trouble? DO I pay paypal and if I do, how do I know it will be fixed with all the problems they have with ppl. ARGH nice right b4 Xmas right

For example: you have the administration trying redefine tortu so it does not include those things that being practice at those hiden CIA camps and bases like Gitmo and the now closed Abu Ghraib prison. Practices like water boarding and sleep deprevation along with extreme forms of humiliation. Is it just me or do some of the republican candidates like say Guiliani actually endorse such actions.

I have lived 66 years and I have never seen a time before when the federal government has forgotten all about OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE. I am a conservative but what has happened to Americans that we allow the Congress to do so little and please so few but nothing is being done to stop them. Have we become so docile that we are just going to continue letting them run over us? What (except vote them ALL out of office) can each of us do to get back to what America used to be all about? We are going down the tubes! Please let me hear your views.

I'm applying for a correctional officer position and in the background investigation phase of the process. The background investigator contacted me for the background interview over the phone and it was revealed to me I had been arrested on two occasions in 1995 for misdemeanor obstruction charges that were dropped and case dismissed. I honestly don't have any recolection of this incident so I answered "no" when asked if I've ever been arrested. I got in touch with the local police department that arrested me and they won't provide me with the copy of the arrest report but would cooperate with the background investigator, I let my background investigator know. I called the background investigator today to get a status update on my application and I was told he was still working on it and someone from recruiting would get in touch with me within a week to let me know if I've advanced to the next stage in the process. Do I still have a chance or is it over for me?
