Fueling airplanes/helicopters? All airports need people like you.

Fueling tanks/trucks? Not a big civilian need for that skill set. Since you worked with fuel, you could try an oil company or pipeline company. They always need good hands.

Your REAL value comes in maturity, confidence, work ethic, loyalty, sacrifice, etc. You are head and shoulders above your peer group because of your military service. And since you are a vet during war time, you should have no trouble finding work in the Springs.

I've been out for 15 years and still miss it. Best of luck finding a job.

I can give you a list of websites for job searches but I'm not familiar with fueling. I lived in Colorado Springs before and I know it isn't cheap for housing.

You can search try job agencies, usajobs.com, indeed.com, monster.com, cpol.army.mil, and I think on military.com they have a section to change military skills in to the equivalnt civilian skills. Good luck to you.

Sounds like the Military Recruiters didn't give you the whole truth!! How 'bout enrolling in community college and become a stock derivitives broker!! those are the only jobs left. All the middle class mfg and service sector jobs have been outsourced to Asia by other loyal americans!!!

Welcome to the world of being a Veteran. I reupped after 3 months being out cuz there were no jobs anywhere. For some reason being a nuclear security specialist doesn't have much marketability in the real world.

you could always try driving truck for gas companies. it's not glamorous but pays pretty good. I've always thought just being in the military shows good management skills so maybe try entry level stuff at a place like wal-mart.i worked at one and it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be.
