I heard this morning that Massachussetts Department of Transportation is banning American flags from all of thier bridges. I can't believe this. I think this is so un-American. All of our heroes that died for that flag. I am just so angry. Let me know what you think.

According to the current law all flags on bridges need to be secured at all corners because obviously nobody wants it to come loose and cause an accident. Bottomline...do we really need to run around and start prying American flags off all of are bridges if they are securely fastened? Is this really the time to take flags down and a person that cares enough to put a flag up is smart enough to fasten it securely.

Have you ever seen anything else hanging on a bridge...but an American flag? Maybe a banner once in a while...but they are taken down pretty quickly. All of the flags I have seen are secure.
