Trying to ship a package to Iraq via UPS....I was told that I need a customs form. Have any of you successfully done this? The package contains homemade cookies, cake, brownies, and I want to do this right so there are no delays and he doesn't get snacks that are all dried out. Thanks so much!

I am conservative, but I do not really understand why some of you INSIST on saying Conservative, not Republican. I have read the ENTIRE Republican Platform as well as the Democrat Platform.

I only see that there are those that are Right and those that are Wrong - Left. Coincidence? I think not.

So, my Question really is: Why are we so picky about it ... conservative, not republican? I just don't get it.

I would like to discuss some politics but thus far most of the questions i have read start off bias and state how negative or how much politicians lie...yeah we "think" we know about things but why not ask serious questions like their voting records?

i have a question. I'm a US citizen.
I lived in Mexico for 3 years and I had a girlfriend in
Mexico. She is mexican but she doesn't have papers
to cross into the USA. We have a baby together,
the baby was born in Mexico.
She says that she is going to make me pay child support.
How in the hell can she do that If I'm american and she is
mexican and the baby is mexican? Can she claim child
support from Mexico?

RE: Total fixed determination term to be served 8 months (welfare fraud) that is to be served CONSECUTIVE to a Total fixed determination term 2 years (narcotics selling, transportation, possession) -- does this mean the woman will actually do ALL of the time (2 years and 8 months)? The 2 years for the drugs are actually 5 counts that are to be served CONCURRENTLY with each other--thus instead of 10 years they have given her 2 years; the 8 month welfare charge was in addition to the drug charges.

If this doesn't mean she has to do the entire 2 years and 8 months, how much will she most likely serve?

This is in California.

I don't see the state of Israel compensating the Palestinian refugees that they expelled from their native villages at gun-point . Ok, so my island's government has passed a new Labor Law, Public Law 15-108. I believe it has something to do with alien workers, and guest workers. Like, every 3 years, contract workers must go back to their homeland, for at least 6 months. Something like that.

They had just done a rally opposing this law. I read in the newspaper about that rally. About 10,000 came. This is a sign that means this law is a big deal. Many people said that this law is too much harsh. The law declares that every 3 years, non-resident workers, on non-US workers must go back to their homeland for 6 months. Crazy, isn't it? I'm a US citizen, and so are my brothers, but both of my parents aren't. They'll have to leave us for 6 months. Life can never be easy with this law glooming over us.

What do you think about this law? Don't you think our government has gone of the path?


I'm only 13 years old, but I really want to do something about this. I really, truly want to make a big difference.

At first I wanted the book thrown at him, but now, I don't know, does it really serve a purpose the put him in jail for years? Now I'm thinking a long probation would be OK. In jail he is not doing anyone any good, out of prison, he can be a productive member of society. As it stands right now he has been punished a great deal, What he did was so wrong, But I don't think he should be penalized beyond the ability to recover.
