The days of the Liberal monopoly on the news is over. It may not be as neat or as pretty or as slickly produced as the networks but the truth is out there and will not be denied. The truth is rarely on the surface. The truth is all that matters. How we get to it is not as important as getting to it.
Do not expect the Liberal news people to just give up and walk away. This is a battle for control of what you are going to see, hear about and know. I don't know about you, but I prefer getting all the news and deciding for myself what matters and what does not matter; what I should know and what I should not.
Ask any journalism student why he/she is becoming a journalist and you will hear things like,"to make a difference in the world" or " to make the world a better place". They should have those ideas knocked right out of their heads. Journalists are supposed to do only one thing. Report the news. Find out Who, What, Where, Why, How and tell us.
There is an obvious blurring of what is journalism and what is editorial-ism.

People who are doing what they should be doing dont rely on this anyway. Its the people who dont participate in the system other than when they want to complain and sit back and listen to and watch the talking heads that are getting screwed... as a result of their own lack of effort

No the message, while immature and sad, is taken by the immature listener who lacks the critical thinking skills to realize how foolish and unrealistic their reactionary policies are.
I don't believe in shooting the messenger for the message. I do believe in drafting them into military service and letting the ENEMY shoot them though.
