hello I will not tell my name or age but I will tell you this I live in the state of Texas in the city of Spring I and I go to dolly vogel intermediate and I am in the 6th grade I have 2 brothers there names are David Ceballos he is 24 and my other brother is name Ricardo Ceballos he is 25 they joined the army 6 years ago and this is there last year in the service one of them is stationed in iraq and the other is with his wife in Nashville,TN now the one in TN is going to iraq in December and i'm worried becaouse...this might be the last time I ever see him again I feel very lonely sometimes and sometimes I just feel like ending mty life but theres one thing that keep's me going...my love for my brothers they have always told me that I should always be good in school and I am I am an A and B student and when I grow up I will be a chemical engenier to wrap this up I would just like to thank all the men and women giving there time for us.

Just two questions on due process:

-Should young people under the age of eighteen have the same due process rights as adults? Why or why not?

-Why is it important to assure procedural due process for people accused of serious crimes? How does protecting the rights for the accused also protect the rights of law-abiding citizens? Explain.

If these kids are brought without knowledge and raised here...?Some speak better English than spanish, finish school, grow to be level headed students that have only known the American way since they can remember? Should they be able to stay? What do you think?

At a party last night this dude snapped at me when I said we have no business in Iraq.

seriously, this guy blew a gasket and called me a traitor for daring to say the soldiers should come home. He said either I was with Bush or I was with the terrorists. Can you believe that? I thought he was going to get violent for a second there. Finally, I just told him..."this is still america buddy" and walked away.

So who was right? me or him?

So today(12/9/07) at 3 a.m I got pulled over for driving drunk. The officer did about 7 different tests including a breathalyzer and I failed them horribly. On the breathalyzer I got a .11 and everything else I did pretty bad. I seriously thought that I was going to get a DUI but the officer acted more like a "friend" saying that my life is too valuable and things like that instead of being a "cop" threatening to give me a DUI and scaring the **** out of me. I fully understand I broke the law and should've receive the penalties but I'm wondering why the cop didn't do anything when I'm putting others at risk. I don't want to call the cop stupid but I've been wondering for awhile why he still let me go. Driving drunk is a serious thing and I left with absolutely nothing. No citation, no ticket, NOTHING. I'm 19 years old now, living in Howard County, Maryland. So my question is do cops allow people off with a serious matter like this? and why?
