Pick Huckabee, northern Republicans will shun this "values voter" whacko, pick Giuliani, the southern redneck voters will stay away from the polls. Pick Romney, that will be offputing to big chunks of Republicans as well.

I really doubt that the Primaries are going to do the republicans any damage. And if it does there is always the week long rally in july to make amends and unify the party.

I think the Democrats have more to fear from their situation. Pick Hillary, a lot of men, and women with common sense, won't vote for her. Pick Barack, the same southern redneck voters will stay away from the polls. Pick Edwards, everybody will be laughing so hard, they won't be able to vote.

It doesn't matter who the Republicans pick, if the Dems pick Hillary or Barrack people will show up just to vote against them.
