For the same reason Ron Paul supporters are spamming the Internet.

I mean, cmon guys, let's be realistic.

Ron Paul 08 when he runs as a Libertarian or Independent because he is NEVER going to get the Republican nomination, but he already HAS got many Libertarian party member's endorsements.

It's all a ploy by the Libertarian party . They put up a candidate who is currently a Republican, let him spend Republican money for a while, then put him forward as their candidate after he's got the publicity on other people's dollars. That way, if they can get enough of the votes, they can get more recognition in the 2012 race. It's all a ploy.
The ran him in 1988, with no publicity. They will get him on again in 2008. Just wait and see. Just another dirty trick in politics.

Ron Paul will not run as an independent. He does not have the national organization to solicit enough signatures to get on the ballot in every state. He could run on the Libertarian ticket but that sort of categorizes him as a fringe candidate. Not a lot of serious voters will toss their vote away on the Libertarian ticket.

No, Ron Paul is not going to run as an third party candidate. If he does not get the nomination, and it does not appear he will, he will return to his job as Congressman. His supporters while very intense and motivated are too few in number. Attacking everyone who disagrees with them will certainly do little to change that.

What Ron Paul supporters need to do is persuade more people that going outside the box is not that scary. Up until now Ron Paul supporters are attacking their opponents, attacking other candidates, spewing conspiracy theories, etc. They are scaring the rest of America away from Mr. Paul. They are making his name synonymous with "kook".

Let's just see how many actually vote for Ron Paul in Iowa. My guess 12. Ron Paul will hang it up after his embarrassing loss in Iowa.

Ron Paul has no expectations of winning in Iowa or New Hampshire (he will fare much better there).

He's waiting until Super-Duper Tuesday . . . so are we.

The blimp is taking off today! GO BLIMP GO!!!

By the way, the Huckster is irrelevant now. Rapists going free and killing again, AIDS patients quarantined, and now this? Dead, politically dead I tell ya.

So what are you saying? That the Pualines can't compete? We already knew that you are the only ones that think you are a force to be reckoned with.
