Yes you should, and you should also be proud of everyone else's Grandfather's who fought alongside yours.

Absolutely. My grandfather was also a fighter pilot during the Battle of Britain and he would have been part of the same group sector as yours (11 Group) since 303 Polish flew out of Northolt whereas my grandfather flew from Biggin Hill.

Without men like these the Nazi's would have had full air control over Britain and possibly an invasion force would have had an easier crossing of the Channel and with that success would have come a neutral America.

So be extremely proud of him.

Celtic S I like the way you think. But yes, I myself would be inordinately proud of that fact and I believe I would try to research everything I could about 303 Squadron.

Yes you should be very proud as i am of my granfather who faught in firstr war in france ypres went to war a proud young lad of 17 and came back a man proud to have fought for king and country .

Hold your head high and say his name with pride.He was an absolute hero in the war against the Nazi party of Germany. The same party thats raised it's ugly head in the guise of the BNP.

Yes, I believe that you should be. Fighting tyranny is a good thing, which is what they were doing. Hitler and Nazi Germany were on a crusade to enslave the world. All of the allies did a very good thing in fighting Nazi Germany. You do owe your current freedom, and the right to even ask what you have asked to his efforts, and those who fought with him.

Be very proud my grandad lost his leg aged 19 during the first world war I am very proud of him.

Of course you should.. he bravely went and fought a World war. That was nothing like Bush's war... that one was for a good cause.

Yes. Think how brave he was to put his life at risk when ordered by his government to do so. Would you be proud if he had been shot for desertion?
