I have lived 66 years and I have never seen a time before when the federal government has forgotten all about OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE. I am a conservative but what has happened to Americans that we allow the Congress to do so little and please so few but nothing is being done to stop them. Have we become so docile that we are just going to continue letting them run over us? What (except vote them ALL out of office) can each of us do to get back to what America used to be all about? We are going down the tubes! Please let me hear your views.

I agree with you!!! Our forefathers would be totaly disgraced if they could see what the government has become and what they do!!!!

I'm not sure that electing all new people will get us any better quality of representation. I cant ever remember government employees being as concientious or hardworking or efficient as those in private industry. Perhaps if the government was required to make a profit and be accountable to stockholders (taxpayers) things might improve.

People need to be educated on all those BIG WORDS you mentioned. The only man in the Presidential race doing that is Mr. Ron Paul. People call his supporters 'fanatic' sometimes, but do you see other candidate's supporters campaigning with such passion for their own candidate? (I Think Not) Ron Paul raised all that money for a reason... he's educating the people on what governmennt is supposed to be and the people like the message....The Government doesn't own you.

Haha, to even see the words 'efficiency' and 'government' in the same sentence makes me howl with cynical laughter. Our forefathers would shoot all these 'politicians' right smack in the earhole. Always remember: The 2nd amendment is there in case politicians ignore the others.

Ron Paul for President.. He is going to be getting rid of all the pointless social programs that we have out there 2day that just dont do anything or not needed.
