this was just a simple yes or no question, with his record of government spending he obviously isn’t.
EDIT: Stars and Stripes, $500 million dollars (tax hike amount) solely didn't go to fix education
EDIT: Robert, are you forgeting Huckabee is for amensty.. he even pushed for a measure to give illegal immigrants drivers licenses and suggested that we import farm workers from Mexico

your article is proof he is not - accepting gifts - raising taxes -freeing a rapist who killed after -giving illegal aliens social benefits, welfare & medical. this is not exactly how he is portraying himself and proof that he is not as sincere as he would have us believe .
stars and stripes -this is what he recvd in gifts and the article is from the associated press -
During his tenure, Huckabee accepted 314 gifts valued overall at more than $150,000, according to documents filed with the Arkansas secretary of state's office. (He accepted 187 gifts in his first three years as governor but was not required to report their value.)he was investigated for some 2 being for cash he failed to declare

i'm afraid suggestions at the instant are not something except they are applied. He has 0 foreign places coverage experience so as meaning he's clueless relating to the international financial device, a nuclear Iran, a nuclear Korea, OPEC, etc. he's susceptible on unlawful immigration, crime and ignorant approximately different religions. Ye,he brags that he's the only candidate with a level in Theology. Did he in basic terms study Baptist theology? And his training platform is for the states to confirm. IMO in case you may no longer examine the written observe, the skill to ascertain track is a mute factor. He could make a stable president if the South replaced into this is very own usa, yet we as a usa at the instant are not non secular zealots who have self belief that Christ and the devil slept in bunk beds starting to be up! (Arby's factors submit to witness to his time table. nicely reported sister.)

I think it is a mixed record, although certainly a much more fiscally conservative record than any of the Democrat candidates. Judge for yourself at:
http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Mike_Huckabee_Tax_Reform.htm
One note on fiscal conservatism: be wary of those who advocate changing the indexing of government expenditures such as Social Security to "inflation indexing" (versus "wage indexing" as is done today). They claim that this would save money, but this is not only surrendering to inflation but contributing to it.

I don't care if he is a fiscal conservative or not. What I'm looking for in a candidate is someone that will build the fence and kick out the illegals before they take over our country. Someone will say in the future.....we should have done something in 2007. You know that one out of every 5 men in Mexico is already in the U.S. illegally? True!

No. He likes to raise taxes and spend money. Also, remember the big chicken man is in Arkansas, and he needs illegal aliens to work in his sweat shops. Also, remember the chicken man buys and controlls all politicians in Arkansas of either party.

Not according to his record as Governor of Arkansas. I imagine some of his compassion has to do with him being a Pastor and trying to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I can't think of another reason for him not being so fiscally conservative. However, my reasoning for it is just a guess. I really don't have any valid evidence as to why he is not.

After reading the petty yahoo news, the only thing that really caught my eye was the gifting that he received.
Wow, he received a canoe worth $ 500.
Wow, he received a stadium blanket worth $ 200.
So over the 10 years he and his wife received gifts.
Huckabee raised taxes
And it went into education.
No interesting information here.
Disappointed.

He has owned up to his mistakes, especially for freeing the rapist. Everyone is going to make mistakes, not many will acknowedge them and apologize.
