Because he illustrates his points in an understandle and entertaining way.
In most cases he doesn't even have to say anything, he merely plays audio clips of the hypocritical, opposing speeches that liberals offer.
They really hate him because he promotes self reliance and individual excellence. Self Reliant people don't need Liberals.

I have never listened to Rush but every quote that RELAX listed to deride the man I absolutely agree with. Thats frickin amazing. He sounds like a heartless Mo-fo. My kinda guy.

Is there anybody left really that takes that character seriously? Are there people still out there that don't recognize that his job is to create ratings and generate revenue? And that he is a personality??

The left pretty much dislikes anybody who doesn't agree with them. As for Rush Limbaugh he's an entertainer, I think anybody who takes the man seriously also believes professional wrestling is real.

He is a corporate puppet. Rush and his show is owned and operated by large conservative telecommunications groups. Rush does what they tell him to do. He deals in tabloid radio, rarely if ever has evidence or proof of his accusations, he's learned from the neo-cons that fear and loathing work to control peoples attitudes and he plays it to the max. Rush is not a journalist, he's lower than a talk show host, he is a puppet to broadcast exactly what his handlers dictate to him.

Limbaugh is 100% ddisinformation and his listeners believe every word he says. That is a very dangerous combination. The divisiveness that he has been preaching since the 90's has been very harmful to America.

I dislike him because he lies and distorts the truth, and he is a hypocrite. I didn't even realize that he was relevant anymore.
