Republic and Junta would be the obvious ones...

Actually, all of the above.

A Democracy is not a Republic nor the opposite. A Democracy is ruled 100% by the people, they vote on everything, so there would be no "balance of power." A "Junta" is a military takeover, that's not in a Democracy. So, the answer is none of the above.

I'm really tired of people talking about us living in a "Democracy." We have not, and are not, and probably will never live in a Democracy. We live in a Democratic Republic!

In a Democracy, every single citizen would vote on every single issue. Its highly impractical and would never work in a nation this size. In fact, the Athenians, who made the first Democracy, knew it wouldn't even work in one city alone. They knew in time of war that they needed decisions fast, so they would appoint one man with absolute power (called a "tyrant") to rule until the war was over.
Democracy actually led to and made the first tyranny.

Junta!

Republic is also with Democratic, which his in democracy.
Balance of Power is very important for rulers. It makes sure that Presidents don't get too much power over the citizens. Like, he's not a dictator like Hitler was. Which is in the government/democracy.
