I have heard that there is going to be an Extension on the date that passports will be required when entering the United States. Is this true and until when is the extension over?

My husband got an assignment to D.C. over a year and a half ago. We were suppose to leave in August but his orders are constantly being pushed back, which has left us in limbo for a very LONG period of time. We don't know if we are staying or going and it is starting to effect our personal lives. We told our landlord we would be moving and he's getting ansy...with each deadline passing his orders still hasn't been dropped. He keeps trying to get some information on the assignment but everyone keeps saying it is out of their hands. What can we do, it is really stressful!?

And yes his chain of command has been involved.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 years now. He is currently enlisted in the Marines and I am about to graduate from college. I am in the Air Force ROTC program and will be commissioned as an officer soon after my graduation. Is anyone familiar with fraternization rules and can tell me if my boyfriend and I will still be allowed to date? We love each other very much, but we also don't want to break any rules. A few years ago, I heard of a group called the Reagan Legacy Project whose mission was to ensure every U.S. county in had a street or building named after Reagan. They stuck his name on the airport in Arlington,Virginia, and a few years later forced the local transit agency to rename the adjacent Metro station. One idiot congressman from Texas wanted to name a major street in DC after Reagan, but that luckily got shot down quickly, as a Northern Virginia congressman politely pointed out there were plenty of streets in his home district to name after him.

Isn't there something rather Stalinist about naming so many things after one person? Perhaps if they didn't start naming things after him while he was still alive or so soon after his death, I wouldn't think so.

I don't want to hear about what he did--I'm well aware of his policies--but I want to know why conservatives seem to put all their eggs into the Reagan basket.

Why don't they just use a taser on a dog instead of a Gun.
Are police that sadistic.
I saw this dog get shot on the news and it really upset me.
It was a pit bull /cross that attacked someone (most likely a provoked attack)Police responded and the dog approached not lunged at officer and he unloaded his weapon.
Thank god he is under investigation.....After the Complaints from Bystanders.

I think this cop enjoyed it.(Sick)
They should have a Strict Policy to use a taser instead of a gun on Animals.
Or if cops are too stupid to handle it any other way then a gun, let the experts(animal control) handle it instead.

Are you that effected by your lack of importance in the real world, that instead of trying to talk nicely and debate ,like a good number of us try to do ,that you have to ride your high horse in to every question and crap on the asker ?
