Here is the status of my H1B application, "Current Status: Case received and pending" , When I approach my employer, standard reply no further details. .....>>>On April 30, 2007, we received this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER>>>, Is this a rare incident for me, or many others H1B is pending.. The status website is not up to the date all the time. You could check with your employer if they have received anything. H1B approval, denial or Request for evidence (RFE) notice goes directly to your employer, since they are the petitioner. You could also have the lawyer who filed your application to make an inquiry to USCIS. Only attorney or employer can request that. Good luck.
