It's a knee-jerk response. Ignore it. They are just trying to push your buttons.
Incidentally, most blacks actually seem to prefer Hilary.

Agreed that you can not like someone and not be a racist. I despise Bush and I'm not a racist. I also don't like Allan Keys. If you do not like the way a person thinks then it is obvious that their ethnicity isn't the issue at hand.
I am sure there are YA posters that disagree 100% with my views yet do so on the merit of those views versus the color of my avatar. Although racists do exist and are alive and well in the USA and the world, this does not mean that everyone is a racists.
You and I rarely agree yet I can't recall your reponses as being based on anything other than personal, political views. I cannot speak for all of your posts as I have not seen them. The ones that I recall did not come across as being racists to me.

Usually the ones that make this claim are themselves racist. It is merely a reflection of their own thought and views.
I, too, am not a supporter of Obama. I don't think he has the experience, respect, or the trust to vote for him. And the fact that he is now relying on Oprah to try and bring in more black and women voters, shows to me that he is not above pulling every trick in the book to get voted, including playing the race card himself. I also shows that he is not confident in his ability either.

Yes it does in fact make them racist but as long as they can continue to use race to get their way they will. It's like a child throwing a fit in the toy store until he/she gets what they want. In this politically correct atrocity of a country it works time and again so why should they stop doing it.

Its a defense mechanism of the far liberal secular left, so called progressive secular movement. They have no real defense for their so called progressive agenda such as allowing millions and millions of illegals in this country, promoting gay marriage and other issues. So in defense they pull the bigot or racist card this causes sane reasonable people to pause for a moment and being a tolerant type of folk we say well maybe we are a little racist here, so we will back off this time. And it happens again and again and again until us sane rational folks say geez where did 30million illegal parasites come from all of a sudden!

No I don't think so. Just because he is a different race doesn't mean you have to agree with his politics. I am a female and don't agree with much of what Hillary has to say. Does that make me less of a woman that believes in women's rights? No.

I have said a lot of negative things about B.O. (I don't like his policies, his lack of experience, etc). Nobody has called me racist or pulled the race card.

I agree with most of the post here. I could care less what race, sex or religion a candidate is, if I agree with most of their positions, I'll vote for them. My problem with Senator Obama is with his policies, just as my problem with Senator Edwards, and Senator Clinton are their policies. If I had to vote for only a democratic presidential candidate, it would probably be Senator Biden. I disagree with alot of his ideas, but agree with more of his than the others.
BTW, I wish J.C. Watts would run for president, I would vote for him in a second.

Saying that you must like a certain man of any race or else you are a racist is like saying you must submit to a homosexual pass or else you are homophobic. It's a bully tactic liberals are using to try to make you feel guilty about your beliefs when liberals can't use truth or logic to support their own positions.

Playing the "racial card" is a the grown up version of -->
..The the playground insults that occur when Mike is mad at Tom because he doesn't agree with mike.
..the whining kid who screams that his parents are unreasonable/mean stupid....
Political choices are generally based on whether one identifies with the candidate's platform and whether one believes the candidate will actually follow thru on his promises.
Those that pick favorites based on their skin color /physical characteristics (looks good) or because all their friends do really need to mature. Human diversity included the ability to disagree on anything! Reverting to a six yr old playground tactic is absurd!
..Skin color has nothing to do with one's mental acuity, personal beliefs, attitude, likes or dislikes. Skin color is a non issue since what one likes/dislikes/believes is not effected by their skin color.. its comparable to saying you don't like Obama because he loves spicy food and you hate spicy food...or I wont eat my veggies and you cant make me mom because I'll tell everyone how mean you are...

They have a weak argument.
I was thinking the same thing. Someone just called someone else a racist for not supporting Obama. I guess a person is a sexist if they don't support Hillary, and anti-caucasian if they don't support Tancredo, Huckabee, Thompson, Romney, Giuliani, McCain, etc..
