The Americans who lost their lives on the 5th, are not the same Americans who were killed on previous days, and the $10 billion are also additional to the previous expenditures. So don't tell me you have answered this before. A rubber band that is stretched a little every day, does not necessarily break daily, but it will break one day.

One of six Christian ministries under investigation by a Senate committee is rebuffing inquiries into its spending, challenging the panel's watchdog role over religious groups, The Associated Press has learned.

TULSA, Okla. - Richard Roberts told students at Oral Roberts University that he did not want to resign as president of the scandal-plagued evangelical school, but that he did so because God insisted.

The scandal has included allegations that Roberts, who is also a televangelist, used university funds for an extravagant personal lifestyle.

Last week, university president Richard Roberts, the son of the school's founder and namesake, resigned. He will remain chairman of the association and be allowed to live in his university-owned home near campus for the time being, said George Pearsons, the regents' chairman.

Roberts and his father will remain "spiritual regents," who cannot vote on university matters. Richard Roberts' wife, Lindsay Roberts, stepped down as a regent about a month ago, Pearsons said.

The younger Roberts and the evangelical university have come under fire since three former professors sued last month, alleging wrongful termination.

The lawsuit includes allegations of a $39,000 shopping tab at one store for Lindsay Roberts, a $29,411 Bahamas senior trip on the university jet for one of Roberts' daughters, and a stable of horses for the Roberts children.

In the days after the lawsuit was filed, the university revealed it was more than $50 million in debt.

How come John Howard got grilled for the whole interest rate thing, which despite saying they wouldn't rise, he did keep low, yet Kevin Rudd was never asked that question, it's like no one cares when it's him in power? Also the whole broadband thing, the fees are going up by 50% I heard, yet no one seems to be complaining about it?

Hello, sorry for all the questions lately. Only asking the ones the recruiter can't answer. He tells me that SEALS learn field medicine in training but couldn't answer any specifics about course length, content, etc...Since seals no longer require prior source ratings I am guessing they won't have as many corpsman apply. Does anyone know how it works with medical care in the field? That is one thing that I really like about pararescue, over SEALS, is the paramedic training. However I like many of the clandestine type of missions SEALS do...hostage rescue and the like. Tough choice for me. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks all for taking the time to answer. ~Chris

the ELS was from the marine corps. it was 8 years ago and was for failure to disclose prior service marijuana use. i failed the uranlysis and was sent home with eligibility to re-enlist in two years. i also have a summary offense ticket from that same year. since then i have enrolled in a municipal police academy(one at your own expense with no guaranteed job afterwards, you only receive cert. to become a police officer if hired), been employed as a correctional officer, an armed security officer subcontracted by federal government, and held numerous other armed security jobs and certifications/liscensures. i have also avoided any kind of trouble since 2000, not even traffic tickets. i am just wondering what kind of chance i have in succeding. i am looking for awensers from police officers but mainly background investigators who may come across this question. HELP!!

Most Americans fall in the middle of left and right. They want thier freedoms but also some moral code. The only one that seems to reflect that to me is Ron Paul. Who do you think?
