Most Americans fall in the middle of left and right. They want thier freedoms but also some moral code. The only one that seems to reflect that to me is Ron Paul. Who do you think?

Ron Paul moderate - HAH, HAH, HAH!!!
Ron Paul is far right on all social and fiscal issues. The only thing most liberals could really agree with Ron Paul about is his stance on foreign policy. And not his foreign policy as a whole primarly his views on Iraq.

The moderate candidates on the Republican side seem to be Romney and McCain.

It's a lot more difficult for me to find the moderate ones on the democrat side but I would say Obama and Richardson.

There really isn't one. And there never will be because today the only way to get on the presidential ballot and stand a chance is to get the Republican of Democratic Nomination. It is hard to win a primary election being a moderate candidate because those voting in primaries are usually extremely conservative or extremely liberal.

Ron Paul is definitely not moderate. He wants to abolish the IRS and succeed from the United Nations...that's definitely not moderate. I would give the moderate vote to Obama, not because his takes on issues are moderate (they are liberal), but because he is able to work side by side with Democrats, Republicans, or whoever it takes to benifit America. There is a significant movement within the conservative population feeling a pull towards Obama; he is the only candidate who can unite America.

Ron Paul. I sure hope he runs as an independent if he doesn't win the primaries. Jackbaue really needs to look at how long this war has been going on...

He's not either. He's neither. He's in a party all by himself. That's how he's going to change things 'round here.

Actually, he's a conservative libertarian. He wants to conserve our rights and civil liberties and he's for Freedom and Liberty! GET THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR LIVES!

Ron Paul wants to lose in Iraq while most Americans want to win. To answer your question, I think you're wrong.
