To know the answer we must ask: What is a liberal? You can use the dictionary definition, but that won't describe today's modern liberals. It is an outdated word, and actually describes what most conservatives stand for. In fact, in most countries in the world, if there is a political party with the label "Liberal" it actually corresponds mostly with America's conservatives.

But what is a liberal?

1. Liberals believe individuals should doubt their own truths and consider fairly and open-mindedly the truths of others.

Jesus said, “"I am the way and the truth and the life.” He doesn't appear to have doubted his own truth or to have been open-minded to the “truths of others.”

Verdict: Not Liberal

2. Liberals believe government has a fundamental responsibility to help those who are less fortunate.

Jesus believed that “neighbors”, not government, are the ones who have the responsibility to help those in need.

Verdict: Not Liberal

Ever vote is counted. "I HOPE " even if he dose not win. Everone can see how strong the country thinks about getting back to a goverment that is for the people and by the people.
Voteing for the lesser of the two evils is still a vote for the evil. Are we that afraid? Afraid you'll vote for the a non winner.? Vote for the person that shares your concerns and views no matter what. No matter what media reports. No matter what, Vote like it's the last chance to vote. The farther away from a constatutional goverment we get. The closer we get to not being able to vote, And that is a real reason to be afraid. History repeats it's self, I vote for history to repeat it's self in another country. Not here. Not in America. This may be the last chance to get back on the right path. Vote for Ron Paul with no regreit.

I was looking on the Air Force website and I couldn't find anything but I did read in a forum that having a broken bone at any time in your life will disqualify you. Is this true?
I broke one of my long bones very severely and it was never set, but I went through physiotherapy and I am 100% better. No loss of movement, strength, etc.

Hillary has Barbra Streisand and so many other far left celebrities that have endorsed her, so why are the Hillary supporters so venomous towards Oprah for doing the same thing except for a different candidate? Can't they handle the competition?

.......
1. Afghanistan: Liberated and fighting hard to stay that way.
2. Iraq: Liberated and fighting hard to stay that way.
3. Libya: Gave up all it's nuclear weapons materials
4. Iran: Not currently working on nukes

What part of the above doesn't sound like a positive outcome from Bush military action. Given that war is sometimes necessary to restrain those with ill intent and action and that young men die in war; doesn't it seem that a lot got done with less military deaths than occurred on Clinton's watch during peace time?

There is an outcry from the Democrats about the CIA destroying interrogation tapes.

First, they blame Bush for outing a CIA person, then when there is a possibility of more CIA Agents being outed, the CIA destroyed the tapes, they blame Bush again.

CIA Director Goss was upset by the tapes' destruction but did not take any action because the decision was within Rodriguez's authority, a former intelligence official told the AP. The CIA's spy service has broad latitude to take actions to protect operational security.

Any law students/lawyers out there? I am a third-year law student, graduating in a couple weeks. I have to take my federal income tax (for individuals) on Monday morning and I am freaking out! The class actually ended a month ago, and I haven't looked at the material in a while. I'm tabbing my books right now, but I need a good outline or something. I always freak out about exams, but I am particularly freaked out about this one because I was so busy this semester that I fell behind in a couple classes. Any advice/outlines?

i couldn't believe the answers i got.

"last 100 years . . . temp. increase of 1 degree" whether it sounds so or not, this is incredibly significant. if it was so insignificant, the ice wouldn't be melting, the ph level of the oceans wouldn't be down .5, and a record high number of specie extinctions would not be occuring.

"can't predict the weather two weeks from now" on a microscopice scale, no. we can't get the temp right within .1 degrees, but we get the general temp? yes. this has nothing to do with the global warming argument anyway.

brianthepig's answer was my favorite. he says mars is heating, therefore the sun is to blame. solar levels are on the DECLINE.not only that, but half the planets in the solar system are cooling.all this proves is that we do not have the same atmosphere as mars, and that all planets' environmental conditions aren't not controlled by one factor
