At what stage of the planning for the attack on 9/11 does anyone believe Iraq got involved?

If Iraq was not involved, why do some cite the attack on 9/11 as a reason for the war in Iraq?

I was at a Christmas party and a Woman from Kentuckey kept going on and on about how evil Hillary is. (I'm thinking Hey this is a party) But she is everywhere chasing people to the open bar for some pain killer.

Then she starts talking about her teenage daughters getting abortions. Is this a typical Republican.

Why do Christians want to make laws to control what other people do with their bodies? Isn't it enough that the muslims try to tell us what to wear and what to put in our bodies? In muslim-land you can be killed for selling alcohol. Are the Xtians any better imprisoning people for selling dope?

I personally think Jesus was a liberal.

Proof :

Matthew 5:38 - Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Matthew 7:1 - Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Matthew 5:7 - Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Acts 2:44 - All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their property and possestions and divide them all as according to each one's need.

Matthew 26:52 - Jesus said to him, put your sword back in its place, for all who live by the sword will die by the sword.

Also to publically funded schools and colleges who insist on not teaching education but instead teaching political views and social diversity and punishing the students who want to learn real education. our public school system is unrepairably broken and pumping money into it make it worst.

Hello again,
I delted the older question b/c I wanted to add more info, I am unsure how to reply to a question someone asked in response to my question.

I wanted to ask if anyone knew the answer to this question...my DH military mid-month LES is not showing up as usual this month--- when I called customer service, they said it was b/c we are in a transient status, meaning we will be PCS soon, so there is no mid month LES delivery beacause of that. I was just wondering if anyone else had this same issue?

We have not gotten paid as yet for this mod month-- that missing mid month LES is for this month, (Dec14th or 15th). and usually, they display the mid month LES a week prior to that paydate (this past Friday) thanks in advance, just want to be sure everything is ok and if anyone had ever experienced this before.

i'm looking to get a fairly accurate judgment on just how misinformed conservatives are on this topic. i've already heard amateur arguments such as: "the sun is causing the warming" "global warming is a hoax" "man does not have the power to change his environment" "a couple [minority] of scientists believed in global cooling in the 70's -- [therefore global warming is presumably not possible]"

anyone with the even slightest degree of knowledge of climatology knows these are ridiculous claims. i'm looking to discover just how misinformed other conservatives on this topic. perhaps, assuming they are misinformed, they are this misinformed on every topic. maybe not, but we'll see.

and please no "the weather man doesn't believe in it". i'm not sure what that proves, other than you base your opinion of AGW entirely off the weather man's (one person) opinion. only facts pertaining to global warming itself, not attacks against or for individual scientists.

I work as a waiter in London and was sent home from work today for not shaving. (it was 2 days worth of stubble, nothing too serious). In the staff manual it reads . . . .'you can wear a beard, not grow a beard. Males should shave on a daily basis.'

My thoughts are that it only says I 'should' shave. Does this mean its compulsory?? and also what is the definition of a beard???
Could I not claim that my 2 days of stubble is my beard which I could grow during time off work!!
I realise they could find 'other reasons' to get rid of me but I have been told I shall receive a written warning which seems a bit harsh to me as my personal hygiene and appearence is excellent other than a little bit of stubble.

Any ideas people??

"When asked who would be a better president, the journalists from outside the Beltway picked Mr. Kerry 3 to 1, and the ones from Washington favored him 12 to 1. Those results jibe with previous surveys over the past two decades showing that journalists tend to be Democrats, especially the ones based in Washington. Some surveys have found that more than 80 percent of the Beltway press corps votes Democratic."

How similar is life as a Surface Warfare Officer to enlisted. Do they both have about the same free time and what about living conditions? Also, purely out of curiousity, what kind of uniform would a SWO normally wear while deployed? I heard that a new blue and gray digital camo was being tested to use for all ranks, but I was wondering if this was true. Any information would be extremely apprieciated! Thanks!!!

suppose someone posted unkind information about you, on a website. Do you have the right to take it down? What about pictures of the rich and famous on the internet? are these pictures protected by freedom of speech, meaning that even if they are embarrasing, the person who posted them should be aloud to do so?

Earlier i asked a question "Ok...Marines..how do you feel about women joining the Marine corps.?and why do you feel that way?".And One person answered and said "Just be aware that there is a small group of men in any branch of the military that are bent on making it hell for any military female. I have heard more than one man say that they would shoot a fellow female in the heat of combat so they could "continue fighting without worrying about her".

Females in the military are also more vulnerable to rape, especially in war, than probably any other profession. It has been covered up very well by the military.

As I said, it is a small group of men that make such a large problem, but it is something that every female who is considering the military must think about. Most upstanding men will downplay this problem because it is the ugliest of the ugly, and decent men can't fathom such behavior. Please, just be aware."

Please..tell me most of that isnt true....?
