I don't support Ron Paul because the following people support his ***:

1). Brainwashed zombie fanatics of the Church of Pope Ron Paul.
2). White nationalists.
3). See #1.

Bottom line, I am a libertarian who probably would have considered giving him a chance. His asshole supporters' evangelical preaching and condescending attitude ruined his chance with me and many other people. Bottom line, they make him look really bad. Kudos to the people who don't know who he is. Trust me, ignorance is bliss - you do NOT want to be a part of his circus.

Yes, I support him, but there are Democrats who I would vote over him... Edwards and Kucinich in particular because they seem sincere. I like Ron Paul because he's....
1. Sincere
2. Against the so-called "War on Drugs"
3. For ending costly wars in the middle East designed only to keep a poor energy industry subsidized.

I'm a white female that did lots of research on all the candidates before I made my choice to place my vote towards Ron Paul. Wow! Just three reasons... hmmm... okay, I will try to state just my first three reasons why I am voting for Ron Paul:
1) He supports the Constitution all the way and has a voting record in Congress to prove it.
2) He wants to get America out of the entangling alliances she's in with Iraq and maybe soon, Iran.(He wants to follow the Constitutional foreign policy of peace and friendship with all, entangling alliance with none. In other wards, no nation building!)
3)He wants to eliminate a lot of the government departments that aren't really doing much good for America(except burning up taxpayer's money) at the federal level. He wants the states to regain a lot of the rights guaranteed to them in the Constitution.
There are a lot more but since you asked for three, I tried to make it brief! If you are interested in learning more about Ron Paul, you can check out his website, www.ronpaul2008.com.

1. He wants to get rid of the IRS, which is an unconstitutional "bank" that has taxed Americans illegally for FAR TOO LONG.

2. He wants to get rid of the idiotic departments that are wastes of money and time. I'm a teacher, and our Department of Education has dropped the ball at the expense of our children.

3. He knows he probably won't win, but he's inspiring Americans to believe that our country can be better. He's honest and to the point. Yeah, he wants to do some drastic stuff, but that's what we need. Obviously the status quo SUCKS.

aside from above
1. small government
2. individualism
3. constitution and bill of rights, an understanding of the way our government is "supposed" to work

I like his stance on the issues except for one "the war"
We broke it, we bought it, not as a party but as a country.
We have to be responsible and clean up OUR mess.
But I refuse to let 1 issue close my mind to the other great stances he provides.

other than that
it blows my mind to see some of the answers above.

Theres only 2 reasons (on the against side) that can be debateable
The rest is just hot air and signs of ignorance.

I do

1. He adheres to the constitution.
2. He most assuredly wants smaller govt.(which would definitely be a good thing for a change.)
3. He represents the break away from the current status quo. but this can only be accomplished if the "people" actually help follow through with it(I personally am certain they will.)

I support him because he's against he war and actually wants our troops to come home. He's an honest man who doesn't seem to succumb to corruption like others do. He also believes in lowering taxes and hopefully inflation. He supports the second amendment full heartedly, too. Didja know our current government is trying to get rid of it? If you know why it's in place, then you can imangine allot of things about why our current goverment is wanting to get rid of it.

I SUPPORT Ron Paul!
