I need some facts and statistics that one could use when arguing FOR the USA PATRIOT act. That is, I need facts and statistics that would be used by someone who wants to PATRIOT act to remain in law. Please, no responses that argue against the PATRIOT act, those are useless to me. I would also appreciate it if you could give a link to your source. Thank you.

What is going on here? Every question I look at in this section is all about people trying to get into Britian! There is something seriously wrong here, don't you think? My family had to move to New Zealand to get away from the problems in the UK. We had no idea just how bad things had got and we've only been away for 4 years. We're talking about coming home but I think we'll just stay here. There seems to be no room for the English in England! Something needs to change in my opinion.

I heard it is illegal for members of foreign military services to wear their duty or dress uniforms within the United States unless that are going to specific events where they would need to wear it.

Is this true? Can you tell me what the law is?

Isn't all this document-burning similar to the end of Goldeneye or even more tragically, what those gas-fighters did back across the Atlantic..

I personally don't think it's fair because there are a lot of people who love Oprah, and probably don't pay any attention to politics who will probably vote for Obama just because of her endorsement.

That is just my personal opinion.

ive been asked to take a polygraph test, the prosecutor says if i don't take one, or if i do and it comes out inconclusive or not 100% good she will press charges. they have no proof or evidence either. i think this is a scare tactic they use against people. i firmly don't believe in taking lie detector tests and my family agrees. we all know there not even admissible in any court or criminal case, so why do they rely on them so much unless they really have no evidence and they think by taking one they can at least get you arrested. all i can say is a sexual allegation came up about 8 months ago and they haven't done anything about it until now, cause were towards the start of the new year. i do have a lawyer and were raising money for my defense. how can they convict me of something with no proof, dna or witnesses ? and before i get stupid responses, i didn't do anything and this claim is stupid at best.

Obama may not have a whole lot of foreign policy experience, but let's be honest, what candidate does? And before you answer that, consider that in spite of his experience, from what I have seen, and what is likely the case for any among you who is being true to yourself, Obama is very familiar with the major/important foreign policy issues that are facing America right now, and has a realistic, concrete plan for fixing those issues with a timeline that would begin from the moment of his election. All things considered, I would say that Obama has a better idea of what America needs than even the president himself does. Based on what has taken place over the last couple of months, it is more than obvious that our current president is no longer looking out for the country's interest when it comes to foreign policy, but is merely taking in what he interprets and acting on his own political/personal agenda even when it comes to very serious issues such as the Iranian nuclear program.

Why stop at such a broad label? Shouldn't the nation pick Catholicism or Protestantism? And if so, shouldn't we then fine tune the label and choose one of the many subsects of whichever bigger partition we chose?
