Iran has an Islamic form of government and it is planning to submit its nuclear program to be inspected by the UN. Thus, it can be allowed to join the United Nations.

Iran has been a member of the UN since its founding in 1946. If it wasn't, it should be in the UN to represent its interests in a global organization. Basically, any nation that isn't in the UN doesn't have as much of a global voice.

The government is an Islamic Republic.

I don't know what you're asking for with "global threats"

I would not recommend anyone into the UN as I believe that following the will of the UN is what has gotten us into 1/2 of the mess we are in now with their so called sanctions on already poor countries. The UN is just a way of countries trying to control each other and I think we should back out of the UN as soon as possible.

The nuclear issue alone is enough for them to not be allowed in. They have violated mandate after mandate from the IAEA, which is an organization under the United Nations, so I seriously doubt there is much going in their favor to help them become a member, hypothetically.

The UN is not an exclusive club. It does not blackball countries, nor does it need endorsements for countries to enter. The intent of the UN is to bring the nations of the world together so excluding any is counter productive.
