Nazi's ran and hid wherever they could. A good number of them went to Argentina, I believe because the government there protected them. German soldiers on the other hand, many did come to America and Canada and even Britain after the war. A great deal of German POW's remained in the country where they had been interred. I remember reading about the captain of the Uboat that had blown up the Barham living out his days in Canada.

Yes, many Nazis did go to the US following the war, Many were brought there by the US military for rocket research --- the US rocket and space program was staffed by former German Nazis, including Von Braun.
The CIA brought a lot of Nazis to the US because Nazis were, and are, anti-communist, and the CIA used them as operatives in the US amongst refugee groups, and in many European countries. They also brought many Eastern European Fascists -- from Yugoslavia (Croatian Ustashi), Estonia, Lithuania etc.
There are many Nazi War criminals living safely in the US, Australia, Britain and several South American and Muslim countries of the Middle East.

Go to those countries and see them for what they are. Go to Iran, or any of these third world countries and see how they feel about you. Learn about Hitler and the Nazis and see what they were about before you start comparing nations.
