In my opinion.. many of their actions are hypocritical and they seem to jump on any thing that comes up and make mountains out of mole hills as to some problems.
Mr Jackson once referred to New York as "Hymie Town" and never once even once has he apologized to the Jewish community. I feel for his wife after his love child was told to her forcing Jackson to expose his affair of many years.
Mr Sharpton also has had his run ins.The television show HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel showed a 1983 FBI videotape in which Al Sharpton is seen talking about laundering drug money with former mobster Michael Franzese, a Mafioso-turned-undercover-FBI informant.
The Duke Lacrosse team..The Twanda Brawlry hoax.
The Black community needs much better spokesmen with integrity then these two to represent them.

Jesse Jackson marched for personal liberty with Dr. King, I consider him to be a great man. Al Sharpton is a political opportunist who only supports black people (Tawana Brawley).

Just two representative actions say it all:
Al Sharpton and the Tawana Brawley case
Jesse Jackson and his "Hymie Town" comment

They appear when whites are involved in some kind of racist behavior.
Whites don't care for that.
Fifty years ago, Al and Jesse would have been described as 'uppity'.

"They are useless, good for nothing anger mongers & extreme racists, without an inch of politeness. They serve no real good purpose at all. They are the most divisive bums, along with Hillary. A disgrace on humanity."

Simple: You get two choices with them...[1] Support their causes or [2] They'll label you a racist in the mass media press.

They're basically media whores who try to make a name for themselves by crying "racism!" where it sometimes doesn't exist. They're just really annoying.
Yes racism and bigotry exists, just not behind every nook and cranny.

I find it troubling that people always say their names together like that...
Jesse Jackson - Civil Rights leader
Al Sharpton - Fox News' version of a "black liberal"
When people list them together, I already know that they really have not bothered to figure anything out about either of them.

They only offer sensationalism to their own needs (mostly pretend power to their personal egos and $$$ for their pockets) but they never offer tangible solutions to problems. Even their traditional base of support are abandoning them...

Insincerity. Unlike Dr. King they are in it for personal gain and not progress.
