Obama may not have a whole lot of foreign policy experience, but let's be honest, what candidate does? And before you answer that, consider that in spite of his experience, from what I have seen, and what is likely the case for any among you who is being true to yourself, Obama is very familiar with the major/important foreign policy issues that are facing America right now, and has a realistic, concrete plan for fixing those issues with a timeline that would begin from the moment of his election. All things considered, I would say that Obama has a better idea of what America needs than even the president himself does. Based on what has taken place over the last couple of months, it is more than obvious that our current president is no longer looking out for the country's interest when it comes to foreign policy, but is merely taking in what he interprets and acting on his own political/personal agenda even when it comes to very serious issues such as the Iranian nuclear program.

I'm a republican voter, and I think that Barack Obama's "lack of experience" is actually a greater virtue than a hinderance. Bush has 8 years of experience in foreign-affairs, and I doubt i would be able to find any non-conservative who would agree that this experience would make him a better diplomat than Obama.
And to be quite honest, I've seen more attacks from the supporters of other democratic candidates on Obama's experience than from other Republicans. Clinton-backers constantly attack Obama on this point, more so than anyone else I've seen. The GOP is too busy trying to convince the world that Obama is muslim (he's not).
I would also dispute the point that attacks on Obama are close-minded. I think pointing out his lack of experience is a very open-minded thing to do, because it's the truth. People have a right to know everything about their candidates, even though they may not be positive. I personally see this fact about Obama as a positive attribute to him as a politician. I don't have to worry about him bringing a bunch of Washington Politics baggage into the white house if he ends up moving in.

It is just a "catch phrase" that stubborn people who blindly support Hillary Clinton or the Republicans are using. Stubborn people who believe all Presidents should be in their 60s and graying. They repeat this statement over and over again because he is a threat! Once he is unleashed, there will be no stopping him as long as the American people listen. As he always says, judgment is more important than Washington experience. I think his experiences as a lawyer, uniter in Chicago's South side, and his knowledge of the world are enough. Not to mention that the guy is extremely intelligent. What is wrong with having a smart President for once?

They wont ought to because of the fact McCain has taken his maximum useful talking element off the table. If he thinks journey is the main serious qualification in a candidate, does he think of no person would be conscious he's seventy one and has maximum cancers and has merely chosen the only flesh presser interior the rustic with much less journey than Obama to be his alternative?

They bring it up because it is his Achilles heel - his area of vulnerability. Every candidate has one & you can expect their opponents to capitaize on it. Having said that, I agree with the person who pointed out that Bush was also lacking in foreign policy experience.

So, people who bring up his lack of experience are close minded???
Isn't that statement in and of itself a little close minded. Am I not entitled to have an opinion about a candidates abilities?
Your entire statement is nothing but an opinion, yet you call others with differing opinions close minded. Must be nice to be the only guy with all of the answers....
