what about if a man is raped? he also needs some witnesses? but how can there be any witnesses? who would be so sick to watch someone being raped and then testify on the courthouse? or what they mean with 4 male witnesses?

Personally, I don't know and don't care, because it's a faulty and... well, stupid judicial system.

But yes, I've heard that number before.

But in any case, the woman gets the brunt of the badness because it means she slept with a guy out of marriage. Very, very bad, even if it was rape. It doesn't matter.
