We vote for bad politicians for many reasons. I think one of the big ones is that we know that they are all slimy and we want to have the slimiest. As, not to be out done or left behind.
Why would people vote for Strom Thurmond? He was an admitted segregationist. How about Robert Byrd, who belonged to the KKK? It's because they are slime-balls and get the job done.

How do you get elected in America? 1) Wave the bloody shirt 2) talk about how tough you are 3) pledge not to raise taxes, esp. if they'll go for things like better schools, mental health care for veterans, and other "liberal" stuff like that 4) call your opponent a communist, or, better still, a "liberal" -- the dirtiest word in the book

They vote for bad politicians because bad politicians are good sales people. Hillary is a very bad politician but a very good liar..with lots of practice as a liar and a husband who taught her to lie and get away with it.

Why would you or any one vote for a politician? I vote for a REPRESENTATIVE/STATESMAN, if one is not available I do NOT vote for the position in question. Are the candidates you are planning to vote for, constitutionally based & proven so through their voting record? If not, why would you vote for some one that does not represent you constitutionally???

If we did away with the Democrats, that would solve the biggest share of problems, that's why there should be term limits for Senators like Kennedy, they are set in there liberal hard headed ways, and regardless if you prove them 100% wrong on something, there is no changing their minds.
