I was involved in a 10-44 (accident without injuries) today. The guy who hit me turned across two lanes of traffic and struck the passenger side of my vehicle. I was traveling in the left lane, planning to turn left about half a block up from where I was.

I don't have my copy of Michie's Traffic and Law Manual in front of me at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it's a two-point violation to turn into the lane farthest from where the turn is started.

The officer wrote a "warning" citation to the gentleman for failure to yield right of way when "turning from private property," which won't carry a fine since it's a warning.

What I'm worried about is that the insurance company won't understand that the other motorist was negligent in crossing a whole lane of traffic to strike me in the farther lane. Am I worrying needlessly?

If I own a company, would you agree that I have the right to tell my employees what they cannot do while they are off the clock and in the privacy of their own homes? And, if they did not comply with the policies that I set up to dictate these policies I can fire them?

Looks like the middle east realized the US isnt a force to be reckoned with, and we will bend our constitutions to invade your country and create many starbucks and burger kings.

Saudis foiled numerous terrorist attacks so did US.

I hate bush but looks like he is doing something right, kind of hard to deny.

I have tons of people telling me different things. I hear: no they dont have to if they dont want to. "but if thats the case, that would kinda be sexist saying men have to fight. women you want rights i think they should have to fight for them too." then i hear: yes they must like everyone else. i'm just trying to find the truth. and if women dont have to if they dont want to. i think that needs to be changed.

There are many many movies that insult Christianity and American values (including the military). The most recent is the Golden Compass.

They continue to make anti military movies like Redacted that smear our military and alienate Americans.

Americans show they reject these kinds of movies, yet Hollywood continues to put them out.

Then you have Passion of the Christ, which was a tremendous success. Also see Chronicles of Narnia. Christian themed movies do well, while anti Christian ones bomb.

I see the same in television. I cannot count all the shows that I refuse to watch because of the way conservative values are taunted.

I do not understand how they do not get this.

or at least have to buy some tax software like turbotax. either way, it bothers me that i have to pay money so that i can then give more money away to the government. i mean ok yeah it's possible for you to do your own taxes but it's hard unless you have a degree in accounting or something.

With grassroots Republican chicanery in the polling place a reality, Democrats can only count on winning by a large margin. Anything close will be decided in favor of the Republicans.
I recognize Obama as a candidate with great merit ( although I personally am not pleased to be rallied by Oprah Winfrey) But are we all about proving we are not racists or is it about evicting the Republicans from office?
The same is true for Hillary. Do we need a woman in the White House or do we need the Republicans out?
For that reason, we should look at the electability of John Edwards in a general election. The electorate are disposed to vote for a Democrat this time, but why should we risk it in order to score purely symbolic victories: the losing candidate was a woman or was a black? All three candidates propose to follow a moderate course. Why shouldn't we choose the one who is most palatable to Republicans or independents?

Minor traffic warrant for driving on a suspended california license in 1994. Would like to see the new rides at Universal Orlando. Can I make them extradite me & pick up the tab for the trip, or if they decide to not come get me shouldn't they have to take the warrant off the system? I have time on my hands.

I asked a friend to help send a laptop from the US for a fee.Its more expensive to buy one here in my country than from abroad and she gave that reason.
