That first response is hilarious. Describing almost exactly what the U.S. was created to be as though it's some terrible thing. Supporting the Constitution as it is used to be a CONSERVATIVE approach. What the Hell happened?

I would rather have a truly conservative president than a big government "liberal" president or a neo-conservative president. Yes I would listen to him, and yes, he would be the only Republican candidate for whom I would have ever voted.

Ron Paul wants access to abortion to be back in the hands of the states -- many of which are hateful enough, left to their own devices in that manner, to seek to FORCE countless thousands of girls and women, annually, to gestate UNwanted pregnancies to term. See my article for a view of the nightmare scenario that would ensue. Ron Paul is therefore a bigot, and that's a deal-breaker. He's unfit to be President.

I only knew he was anti-Iraq war, which to me says the man at least has the makings of a brain. Sure, I'd listen -- but the other answers make me think he's one of these "every man for himself, let the devil take the hindmost" types with some right-to-life fascism thrown in on top, which to me is a total turnoff. But yeah, I'd listen to him -- maybe only once, tho.

The guy has some good ideas but espouses others that are...what's the phrase I'm searching for... have been degraded by time.
Even so, I'll remain receptive.

I've already listened to him. Liked some of what he said, disliked other things that he said, think he is duping America by promising changes he won't be able to deliver as President, and refuse to vote for him to see how many of his rabid supporters hang themselves when he loses.

I have listened more than once to him and he never fails to continue to prove that he's a goofball.

No, it seems he wants a country like mexico with almost no government regulation where everyone looks out for their own interests and the government stands back and lets the exploitation happen.

I have listened to him. His pro-life stance turns me off. That would just be a step backwards.
