Your beliefs are flawed.

When you buy a song legitimately, you are paying for a limited license to use THAT purchased song in personal and non-commercial manner.

It does not give you a license to then go get that song from an illegal source since you already own it. That's not logical, but I keep seeing people convey that notion all over these forums.

YOu wouldn't go to see a new movie and then come home and illegally download it, thinking it was legal because you bought a movie ticket to see the same movie earlier that day.

I'm not telling you not to do it, hell, everyone else apparently is, but just so you understand that what you intend to do is not legitimate. No one has won a lawsuit against the recording industry yet...they have the law on their side, whether I agree with the law or not (I don't...but respect the law).

Just because they are on napster does NOT mean they have been obtained legally. This is a HUGE problem in the USA. I suggest that you only purchase music from sites such as Wal-Mart's website or Block Buster Music Online. BMG may also have a website, but I don't really know. Most downloads from limewire and imesh cannot be authenticated by newer MP3 players, which means they just won't play.
