I prosecuted my father for raping me when i was younger & its been 3 years since the trial so i was in & out of court alot. Also when i was 15 or 16 i stole from a retail store with 3 friends, we all got caught & they took us to the station & took our fingerprints, but they said if i completed a course nothing would show up on my record (which i did).

An employer is doing a Federal Background Check. Will things like this show up?

just got 2 notices of intended prosecution. same date, same place but different streets, 6 points on license, £60 penalty each. why? i exeeded speed by 11 mph (should have driven max 30 mph). I nearly sold my car and am leaving Uk in 7 days, how do i go thru this now as they want me to send letter confirming i was a driver then, i will need to pay and send my license and they will resent - all will take weeks, and i will be thousands miles away from Uk not looking to be back - what do i do?

Ok, so my son goes to a school with a violent 9 year old as well as him because hes 10 years old. This child has been violent with other students and abusive. He has now as of today touched my child a second time and pushed him against double doors leaving with him with a large bump on his head. The principle has done NOTHING to this child. What rights does my child have and what can legally be one to this child to get hellp right away? police report? what law is he break? if so what one?

The bill calls for the United States to cut carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions by 70 percent by 2050 from electric power plants, manufacturing and transportation.

The legislation was introduced by Republican John Warner and Independent Joe Lieberman.

It would create a "cap-and-trade" system whereby companies would have pollution allowances that they could sell if they went below the emission limits, or buy if they found they could not meet the requirements.

The trading is aimed at reducing the economic impact of putting limits on carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels, the leading greenhouse gas.

An amendment by Sanders (I-Vt.) calling for an 80 percent reduction in emissions by 2050 instead of 70 percent was defeated 12-7.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,315464,00.html

Climate scientists generally recommend an 80% reduction in emissions by 2050.

So what do you think of this bill? Too aggressive? Not aggressive enough?

Or would the idea of a non-balding, fit, younger, Dick Cheney scare you in your dreams? Conversely, it could mean for a slower, balder, more experienced Bush.

and our health care so our corporations & businesses don't have to, funding of our children's schools so we can have the most educated students on the planet to be prepared for an increasing competitive world we live in, repairing of crumbling roads, highways and bridges, and other needs our country has so we can remain competitive and democratically strong in today's world? Why does this adminsitration and the GOP want to keep shipping our money to Iraq, the middle east and to an already bottomless money pitt of the military at the sacrifice of our own citizens and our children's future?

My son has been having stomach problems since April. He had been to the same hospital several times for the problem. 3 times by squad. The pain was unbarable. He had the same tests done everytime. He had CAT scans, x-rays, colonoscopy, you name it he had it. They have treated him for irritable bowel syndrom, spastic colon, H-pylori, even thought he had chrons decease. The last visit to the hospital they said he had a blockage and they were just not going to feed him until it worked itself out. The pain was untolarable. He was also sepsis. They decided to cut back on his pain medicines to help him have a bowel movement. Nothing happened. He was just in horrible pain. After laying there for 13 days, no food, dying of pain they decided to do exploritory surgery. When they got in there he had a ruptured meckel's diverticulium and a paracolic abscess. I been told that if the abscess would have busted he would have died. He was already really sick. Is this a malpractice case?

I was a cashier all my life and only made one mistake of giving over $5 back and the customer was cool about it. Never was short or over.

NOW, I was at Costco the other day and an older man gave a clerk a $100 bill for a $36 total purchase. Clerk gave him back only $4 !!!. It was so shocking and obvious. He noticed it and asked for his $60 back which she gave him.
Mistake or no, but this was blatantly outrageous, and obvious.
Good thing he paid attention.
My Q is if a register is over $100s of dollars or more does the company keep it if no one comes forward?

I know its going to cost me an arm and a leg to mail letters and such to my husband when he deploys next month.
But does anyone know if postage from the Middle East to the US is free for him? Or would it be a good idea to send him with pre-stamped envelopes??
