Also when i was 15 or 16 i stole from a retail store with 3 friends, we all got caught & they took us to the station & took our fingerprints, but they said if i completed a course nothing would show up on my record (which i did).

If the police department didn't put in a report, then it won't show up. Neither of these are federal issues anyway, so you should be fine.

Juvenile records are sealed and are expunged when you turn 21, so I wouldn't worry. Besides, if you took that course it was probably taken off your record, as it is a minor offense. As for the rape case, they are just looking for crimes you have been convicted of, so no it won't show up.

Ruby - i became contained in the Air rigidity for some years. while chatting with the recruiter, answer questions right away. do not volunteer training that they don't ask for. Being raped is an exceedingly inner maximum remember. i'm not sure if it would be contained in the scientific information that they get carry of notwithstanding it may. in case you're actually not experiencing any emotional issues through it presently or in case you're actually not taking meds (prozac, etc) through fact of it then i don't see the way it would remember. i think of they are going to ask you in case you have ever taken melancholy meds or not. in the event that they do, you may continuously say which you're a sexual attack survivor . in case you're actually not "lifeless-set" on the Air rigidity, inspect the Coast safeguard.

The rape certainly will not - you were the victim, not the criminal, so it's on HIS record, not yours.

The shoplifting it sounds like was handled with a diversion, which means that that *shouldn't* show up either. MY advice, though, is to ALWAYS disclose that sort of thing anyway. "I shoplifted when I was 15, and got caught" isn't going to bother most employers, but lying about it NOW will.

I believe that only convictions show up. Since you weren't the rapist, that won't show up. Since there was no trial and they told you that nothing would show up on your record, I wouldn't worry about it. Even when juveniles committ much more serious crimes their records are generally sealed.

Your father;s case will not come up. You were not the charged party. The shoplifting should not show since it was your juvinile record. The courts tend to seal those. If your juvinile record was not sealed it may show, but with limited detail.

these people saying victims don't show up in you background is ridicilious. Yes it will, but so what? You didnt do anything wrong in the rape. The theft will probably also be on your record (even dismissed stuff is on there), but it will probably say dismissed or something like that.
