I would say at least 70% chance of a Dem.I watched the last republican debate in florida and it was funny, they spent most of there time putting each other down and talking about their past records, with the exception of Ron Paul none of them really offer anything new .a late president was right when he said' the republican party is the party of the past".George Bush has made it impossible for a republican to be elected

I'm an Independent who will vote for Ron Paul in the general election even if he isn't running.

I'm guessing the odds are about 60% that a Democrat will be elected.

I think that there is so much passion in the voters right now and so many conflicting opinions that I just don't see this being an easy win for either side. I'm going to have to say 50/50.

75% to 85%, UNLESS the "Democrats" exercise their tradition of doing something stupid or cowardly or nominate someone crazy, and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, like they have so many times before.

Personally, I'm a socialist and think it's a shame the "Democratic" and "Republican" parties have a political monopoly.

The "Democrats" aren't very democratic and the "Republicans" are darn near royalists.
