Do they not see that this will have an adverse on all aspect GM & Ford, and not just the "rich CEO's"? Being realistic, if this strike goes on for long there is no way that the companies will be able to stay in business. The companies are alreay in financial trouble how will they be able to absorb more cost, when they have to raise the benefits of an already spoiled American Auto Worker?

I'm asking this question, because I've heard some conservatives accuse public schools of indoctrinating their students with liberal ideologies. I went to public school in a small town in Arkansas and I graduated from high school there in 1992. Personally, I was never indoctrinated by any of my teachers and I also recall that some of my classmates from the same school were conservatives. I suppose that my pre-college education shaped my political views in that when the differences between the platforms of the Democrats and Republicans were described to us in class, I decided on which party I supported according to the views I already held. In your answers, I would also like you to mention where you attended school, whether it was public or private, and when you graduated.

he is a kook _ that is laughable -extremely intelligent is more like it .anyne who states this just doesnt have all the facts and has likely got their tidbits of information off of television news talk shows

his supporters are not real just the same person under different names (yeah and all three of them gave him 3 million dollars in campaign funds last quarter -give me a break his campaign is slowballing with people who do just a little research on him and jump aboard

-he would eliminate the CIA- yes he would and he would consolidate all the intelligence agencies into a couple so that information would get into the right hands quicker (the opposite of what was done with homeland security a giant bureaucracy where nobody knows who is doing what

he would remove us from intl agencies and trade deals yes but they would be replaced with fair ones to help out all parties involved not just the few
can you think of more misconceptions?

I am an old rancher on the Mexican border. My family has ranched here since 1908. I've been looking at some of these answers. 99% of these people don't have any idea what they are talking about.

These mexicans have changed. 50 years ago, they were all good people and I liked them. They lived with us and taught me spanish and many good ways and customs. They and us depended on each other and I made good friends with many of them. They worked hard and never stole from us. All of my good old mexican friends are dead now. I miss them.

Now, they are bad. I wouldn't give a nickel to any of them now. I don't know what happened. They are mean and bad. About 10 to 15 years ago they started stealing from us and got mean and don't want to be friendly any more.

Do you really know the new immigrants?

It would increase jobs, decrease crime, decrease court overload, increase tax revenue, free up resources like police to work on violent crime - because FACT IS a huge amount of the population is ALREADY DOING some type of drugs and with it legalized the ONLY change would be a positive one!!

To start with Iraq of course,Then Iran fighting a proxy war against the U.S.Then you have Afghanistan,Turkey,Africa,Syria,But the biggest foe of all is the Liberal Democrats who are fighting a proxy war against George Bush.Even some Republicans are fighting against G.W.Those like Chuck Hagal. Then the Media Cris Mathews,Dan Rather and Keith Obberman.Let us not forget Code Blue,Moveon and Every Democrat Presidentual Candidate. In other words with all these countries and all these Traitors from America George Bush is still kicking ***.Our Military loves him and Republicans for the most part understand the hard work he is doing. So to the liberals of the world keep piling on every thing you do and say will be recorded for future generations!

On Sportsbook.com Ron Paul and Mitt Romney have the same odds of winning the election at 8-1.
It is clear to me that both these candidates get different treatment and they both have the same odds of winning.
Please tell me some of the groups that stand to lose if Ron Paul is elected and who is behind the bias?

Here's something I just thought of. Governments—orders of rule—today, from the beginnings of civilization, and even before were run by power-hungry, greedy, evil people who made themselves greater at another's expense, detriment, or demise.

All of them. Not one is left out. Bloodshed is plentiful on each civilization's hands. Lives were ruined and destroyed from continent to continent, ocean to ocean, all in the lust for might.

Knowing this, isn't it an impossibility that moral people, people who care and love and seek to uphold and uplift their fellow human beings, fit into governmental organizations?

Power corrupts and it is inevitable with a selfish species like humankind. The trade is rich with liars, manipulators, and cruelty.
So aren't we just hoping on the impossible? Do moral people belong in government? Should that even be expected?

Gov. Rod Blagojevich and Illinois state lawmakers passed a state law banning any employer from using the voluntary federal program that can help a company figure out if they have illegal aliens working for them. Should the federal government arrest and charge these people? Im all for state rights, but to ban a "good" program that can weed out illegals aliens from our workforce is criminal. What is Illinois now a safe haven state? I thought we only had safe haven cities. I guess if Illinois had a better program specifically for this, then refusing to use our federal governments one would be OK, but this is not the case. When a state starts to work against the people, then I have no problem with the federal government stepping in to kick some pro-illegal immigration as*! I hope this governor is not only arrested and charged with a federal crime, but I hope he actually serves some time. Betraying your own country should be a death sentence, no matter who u are.

Think about it. Illegals come here to work. That means Americans are willing to hire them. Illegals then bring their family and extended family- wife, aunts, uncles, kids, sisters, brothers, etc. I live on the border amidst many drophouses, and the conditions - 15-40 to a house - are unreal. So if employers here HIRED AMERICANS, illegals wouldn't have a reason to stay, right? My aunt was working at a factory here and was fired after the higher-ups decided that illegal immigrant labor would be cheaper. Thankfully, they got busted a few months back for it, but many companies don't.

Many of them send much of their money back to Mexico anyway. Do you agree? What should be done?

How many more will lose limbs, eyes, and suffer brain damage? How much has the national debt risen since the start of the war? Why did Cheney move his personal investments offshore and into Euros, and why did Halliburton more to Dubai? The only people who have suffered are American soldiers, the lower and middle classes, and countless Iraqis. What price have the rich paid? The international corporations? The oil companies? Funny how protecting US national security means everyone losing out except those on top.

Just kidding, we did it to spread freedom, security and Democracy [sarcasm off]
