It seems like someone is suing me at the small claim court, and the new tenant of my old apartment (where I moved out 13 months ago) accidently signed the subpeona, and she got my cell number from the manager and left a message like that. Do I have to appear to this trial? Will it be void because I didn't sign the paper? Help. Thanks.

I'll be 50 soon. Life's been good to me. I have enough saved to live off of for the rest of my life. The home is paid off, and I have no debt.

I only work to keep my health insurance coverage.

I'm thinking about retiring as soon as HillaryCare becomes law. Since her plan is dependent on income, not assets, I plan to take just enough out of my retirement plan to qualify for free coverage.

This will give me the time to visit the doctor more often to take care of those things I didn't want to spend MY money on.

Will anyone else be doing the same? I figure if the voters want me to have free health care, it would be an insult not to take advantage of it. Right?

Why are death row inmates, scheduled to die for the crimes they have committed, allowed to file lawsuits in the first place? I just read that 2 inmates have filed suits alleging that lethal injection is cruel and unusual punishment because "IF" not enough anesthetic is administered, the inmate feels pain. WTF? One of them was convicted of shooting and killing 2 cops, the other convicted of killing a couple and shooting their 2 year old! How do these people have any rights whatsoever? Is the result of their actions not "cruel and unusual punishment" since their families have to live without them and that 2 year old will likely not even remember his parents? I am just outraged at this! Just as a convicted felon loses his/her gun rights and right to vote, so should inmates lose all rights when they enter the prison system. Why are we so concerned with how the inmates feel when they obviously had a disregard for society as a whole, or they wouldn't be where they are.

If so, why? I've only blocked a few people, and they were all trolls who made it a point to stalk and harass me. Do some people here wish to learn something new or maybe engage in an intelligent debate or do they merely wish to preach to the choir?

Madonna meets with the Israeli president and Kevin Spacey meets with none other that Hugo Chavez?????? Uh, excuse me, when did they become important players in international politics. Disgusting. Why does the press give these pathetic celebrities any coverage? Wake up, US journalists, nobody cares.

My husband and I have custody of my daughter from a previous relationship. The biological father has not seen her for 2 and a half years and has never contacted me wanting to see her. We are in the Army and will be getting out around this time next year and I am wondering if it is illegal to take her out of the state? He has no visitation or rights to her, he was paying child support but I have canceled due to his lack of seriousness and me getting tired of taking trips downtown to fight him for it. I need to know if he has any rights to whether or not he knows where she lives?? Thank you!

Illinois recently passed a law FORBIDDING employers to enter the voluntary social security number check program for employees, as the Feds were talking about implementing the program as a requirement. The feds are suing Illinois over this. This is the first thing I've seen that suggests to me they might be serious about any enforcement at all.

What do you think?

in detail I have friend who was married to this guy years this last July.. However in 2006 he was cheating on her with some girl he worked with and she had became pregnant. In Feb. of 2007 he left the day after their son's birthday without warning okay so when taxes came around she filed in July they were still together then. and he went and filed again to try and get her into trouble which in turn he owns instead of getting a refund she found a paper that was filed out against her for tax fraud. in this his statement was lies. such as being seperated for over 11 months last year and the kids lived with him.. in truth they lived together. on this paper he has her address of her parents who lives in another state. And it also goes on that he considered his wife Dangerous due to the fact she was mentally unstable and her behaviour was unpredicatable. there wasnt a ounce of truth in his statement. not sure if it had in fact been filed. and cant afford a laywer and unsure what to do

The council have marked out my neighbours disabled bay to lap 3/4 over outside my property (we live in terrace houses), so in effect, I cant park out side my own house. Can the council do this without my permission?
I have called them to object and to put the bay back the way it was before the road was resurfaced. Also, this bay has been marked, at a guess about 15 + ft, a massive increase to the original bay.

OK , I'll set the example and say something nice about Liberals . . . . . "I like the way they dress" . In fact Mr. Clapton is gonna help me say it even better , but what's something nice can you say about your political opponents ?

It's late in the evening,
she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up,
and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."

We go to a party,
and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady
that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."

I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.

It's time to go home now,
and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys,
and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her,
as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight."
"Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."

history shows that every society, Rome, Spanish, etc did the same thing no one could beat them in war so they were destroyed from within, they were brain washed into believing patroitism , hard work, and prejudice is the worst thing the world has ever seen, so the romans started welcoming out siders into their army's , homes gov, etc so did te spainards, so what happened to them? simple they sunk.. now lets consider ,China,South Korea. India, and Japan, all strong nations on the rise to world powers, but, visit them and you will see how patroitic their people are, and how prejudice they are also, all of these country's have did better in math, engineering , technology, science etc than the Americans,
if America's desire is to stay on top wehave got to make some changes, we can't keep letting people come into our country who is a drain on our natural resources, and get our educational system bacm under control, &advance only people as they qualify, no more freebees or specials, ?????
