Often in the north whether in Canada or USA there aren't that many services provided as in the lower 48 or southern Canada

Do you mean living alone in a tent in the middle of winter at say....Inuvik...I don't think many can. Other than the original inhabitants.
If you mean living in a house at Inuvik. No Problemo.
If your from the city of Angels, there would be a learning curve.

I live in the north! Who told you this foolishness about less services? We might be up north, but we are not in isolation!

I don't know about you all, but i can't live in the south with their allergies. I miss the north!

I'm not sure where you get your info. It is incorrect. Also we Northerners are made of stern stuff and are usually self-sufficient. But that still doesn't make your statement correct.
