If we do, then where will we get our news entertainment from? The clever, witty, banter from the news anchors? The news sucks, the only thing that makes it worth while is the possibility that some collage douche bag might get tased. Maybe, if he cared about other peoples freedom of speech as much as his own, he would have let them talk when his time was up, then this wouldn't be an issue (today). He wanted Internet stardom, and attention, he got it.

Well, I think there should be more rules regarding the use of tasers, I know they hurt, as I once relieved myself too close to a low-amperage, high-voltage electric fence. Don't belive I'll do THAT again. Ever. Sooooo if they serve to get the attention of would-be felons, where handling the situation another way could be a much greater risk, I guess I'm for it, for the most part. I'd have to work in law enforcment to say any more about it.

First of all they are not a torture device nor are they intended to be used in such a way. They are a law enforcement tool used when offenders will not comply with police and are escalating situations. There is a continum of force law enforcement is able to use, tasers are along the lines of batons, etc, deadly force is the use of a gun. Tasering a suspect/offender is not deadly force, although it hurts, maybe so many people should not fight the police, how bout that?

Well if your gonna harm other people then you deserve to get tasered. Would you rather get shot or tasered?

I guess you would rather be shot dead, huh? A taser is NOT a torture device, genius. Its a tool.

Nope. They work great and are much better than shooting people or beating them with a club. Being able to recover so quickly afterwards is also a plus. No permanent damage.

Only if you can suggest another means of subduing someone. Yes, tasers hurt---so do bullets. I'd rather be tasered.

No such thing as "taser torture devices".

Can't outlaw something that doesn't exist.
