Do you see how DUMB that sounds? That's how the lot of you wacky conspiracy theorists sound!

Osama bin Ladin, Khalid Sheik Mohammad and 19 beasts made 9/11/2001 come to pass. Not any American political figure.

Our government (both the Clinton and Bush administrations) really dropped the ball on intelligence, though....

Given: A house in a shore community sits on a 25 by 100 foot lot. zoning changes now require a 3 foot setback on one side and 10 foot on the other. If this house is destroyed for any reason it would require a variance to rebuild as its current footprint is 17 foot wide. can a town refuse to issue a variance in such a circumstance? If they do not, as a practicle matter, no house could be rebuilt. Does this zoning constitute a "taking"? Is ther insurance to cover the complete loss of the full property value in the event a house could not be rebuilt. the land alone is valued at $200,000. Thanks

or try to bamboozle them over and over again, clearly misleading them over and over again? Like the old story about the empire wearing no clothes and all of his subjects accepting the lie that the clothes were so beautiful, made of such fine fabrics that they were invsible. When will we rise up and say the emperor has no clothes and call this man a liar to his face?

I listen to a speech the other day from a former DEA head and he described the war on drugs like this: You have 10 officers standing at the bottom of the Nigera Falls with dixie-cups, they keeping filling their cups and say ZERO tolerance for water while pouring them in a bucket....they just aren't making much of a dent.

Probition failed because the people wanted to drink...they said if they made alchol legal...millions would become alcoholics, yes but the vast majority of people don't drink...people like me!

If drugs were legal....you know allow freedom...allow people to put in their bodies whatever they wanted...the VAST majority still won't become drug addicts...people like me!

If drugs were legal...millions could be freed out of prision saving billions of dollars.

Dealers wouldn't make money...because you could buy legal drugs and tax them

We could lay off 1000's of police officers...$$$$ think!

Why continue the insanity?

I went to court and i keep one of the spare handcuff keyes on my keychain and they took the keys away, I understand why I cant have them in there, but then they would not give it back. They told me it was illegal to own a pair of police handcuffs. But if you go to Smith and Wesson.com, where I got mine, you can purchase them no questions asked!

I was mandated by my employer to undergo a Fitness For Duty Evaluation. Employer utilized "deception & intimidation" to ensure attendance. The Dr. also used "deception", and refused to give me a copy of the Evaluation. Stating that "no Dr. / Patient relationship" existed, so he was not required to provide one.

I was deceived by the employer into believing that I was attending this "Evaluation" as part of my recent FECA/FMLA claims for a physical injury at work. The Dr. also claimed that I would have to request my "copy" from the Department of Labor.

This "Occupational Medicine Doctor" proceeded to perform what can only be described as a "Psychiatric Evaluation". Once I finally obtained a copy of this Doctors' Evaluation, I discovered that the Dr. stated in his Evaluation that "he was not qualified to perform the requested Evaluation!"

My employers' actions and the Doctors, have caused growing stress, causing weight loss, hair loss, loss of sleep, now I wear kevlar to work.

G.W. Bush told the press among others that he sees the need for at least a ten year commitment of high level presence by our U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He can't be serious, or is he delusional?

The U.S. is broke and mortgaged to the teeth to China, that notwithstanding, just as every generation has done in the past ( when confronted by a senseless war) the fighting age men and women will finally turn a deaf ear to the call for service. There is no way in hell that Congress will pass an active draft for the Iraq/Afghanistan conflict. So, where does this administration think they'll find young warriors to do their bidding on the battlefield. Well, that is a mute point because they don't care after January 2008.

Here's the story....I know a person who's husband went to Iraq twice....once for less then 4 months then again for 11 month. He has been in the military for 10+ years and those are his only two deployments. Now, shoot to my husband who has been in the Army for less then 8 years (October makes 8) and he has done one tour in Korea...two in Iraq (9 months and a year) and is currently deployed to Afghanistan.

So, her husband has become a recruiter to avoid being deployed. Now, she seems to think that her husband is a better person then mine since, he put his family first while my husband is working on his 4th deployment without ever thinking about how to dodge them.

I just want to hear outsiders opinions on the subject. Does the Warriors Ethos not say~~
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.

Does it make my husband a bad husband/father but a good soldier..or vise versa for her husband

I could be wrong, but the suspects look like tweekers to me. Meth knows no racial boundaries, so I’m not sure why the question of “Hate Crime” would come up. The victim’s mother said that her daughter has a history of being gone for days on end – I’m guessing that she was / is a tweeker too.

Do you think race was the motivating factor in this case?

We were told that immigrants were doing jobs that Americans don't want to do. With this new law they're trying to pass which allows trucks from Mexico to travel anywhere in the U.S., does that mean that Americans no longer want to drive semi-trucks?

He always talks about integrity, but lately it seems like I'm starting to notice him becoming a bit arrogant, like he's starting to lose the ordinary person within himself. People in the public eye start believing the myth that surrounds them.
Also, he started to get all caught up in some of the bait that hilary threw his way, about meeting with foriegn leaders, and the war in iraq.
He needs to stick to what's happening here- there are people needing med care and help here in u.s.

It seems most of the debate is based on whether what we are doing is working or not in Iraq, but is that the real debate?
Shouldn't the question be whether we should have gone in the first place, and whether we should be there at all?

Success is one measure of things, but just because an action is succesful, it doesn't make it the right action.

You might think I'm kidding but I'm not . As of this morning there are rumblings behind the scenes that several Generals are planning to call-out Hillary on her comments implying General Petraeus is a liar . They're also outraged at all the Democratic Presidential candidates because NONE of them publicly condemned that NY Times ad ' Petraeus or Betrayus' .

Mass resignations of U.S. Generals will endanger our country .
So I think it's high-time all you feeble snickering Liberals(not all just the feeble snickering ones) wake-up and demand that the Democratic Presidential Candidates Publicly condemn that ad . As well as demanding that Hillary apologize for insulting a 4-Star General . I tried to tell you guys yesterday that THIS ONE will NOT go away .

Shouldn't Every Good American Demand That Our Presidential Candidates Publicly Condemn That Moveon Ad and Hillary For Calling Petraeus A Liar ?

How many of you believe if you are putting on a mother-in law addition to your house; Your town should properly inform you of all the ordinances you need to comply with? Or do you want ordincance made up at whim to prevent that addition.

I say this is assuming you like your mother or the family member who is going to move in.

OK!!! Who else gets p!ssed when you see a Mexican (or any other foreign person) who you know understands and speaks English just fine, act like they don't understand it at all when they for example are getting a parking ticket? I saw this happen yesterday at work, could not believe it! I wanted to just walk up to the officer and say hey, 15 minutes ago in my office that person was speaking English just fine!!! That is so wrong to do! Don't immigrants realize that it is things like this , that perpetuate stereotypes and make them less liked? Who else agrees or disagrees?

I was at a party last night and the cops came and took all of our names down. Our parents had to come and get us and take us home. Since I am a minor (17) they said even though I had not been drinking I would get blamed for possesion I think. What will happen now? Will I need a court date and will this affect my future. I guess this was a case of wrong place, wrong time, but chances are my friend's actions could endanger my future. Does anyone know what will likely happen?
